Welcome home Mathieu!GO HABS GO!
Welcome back WHITE PADS

I hear ya. I should add that I meant rejuvenated for the remainder of this season and possibly a force in the post season. I don't want him back in 09-10
Ya, but should that happen, Gainey will make him an offer for 4 or 5 million in the summer. He'll take it because nobody else will make him an offer and we're back to this for 2-3 more years. No Thanks
Leave Now!!!

What happened to our centennial season boys?
I bring good news..... When I post, We win!!!!!!!!
GO HABS GO!!!!!!!

This is awful. Almost stomach turning - I hate it. It's the worry that any given scenario that happens is likely to be bad. The only positives is if Kovy comes back rejuvenated or Gainey makes up for it by making a blockbuster that eases the sting of losing Kovalev. And, as bad as Kovy has been this season, when you add up his time with us - this wasn't the way I wanted it to end.
Should I hope for a move or not?
It is a bummer the way things are going down but let's look at it realistically. I wish the picture was Kovy and Koivu hoisting the cup, but it won't be. So this summer do we sign Kovalev again? The threads will be loaded with Anti-Kovalevism. I'm sure Gainey would over-pay him and everyone would lose there minds. I'm glad he's done. He will NOT bring a cup to Montreal. Boston will work him over in a series and Kovy does not like to get hit.
I'm done with him, he is just too frustrating to watch. I don't want Gainey to consider signing him again, so no hope for rejuvenation here I prefer to get something in return though if Gainey can manage that. Who the hell wants the moody ****

So what happened?
Did he mention what went wrong?
-
Shouldn't Carbo do it first, though? Even if he is around the team, it gives Carbo legitimacy. Now it makes Carbo look weak and that he can't control Kovy.
Naaaaaa, I don't buy that. It sounds as though there was a meeting of the minds with Bob and the coaching staff and they all decided on moves that should be made. If anything Kovalev got the news from both of them in their office. This isn't Bob coming in and putting his foot down as the media is making it sound.

How many times did Souray hurt his wrist fighting?
How many times did Souray beat the piss out of someone
-
Well, once again our boys didn't show up in the 1st period!(except for the 4th line)
At least they showed up in the second period...only knock was the PP. I never thought I'd be saying this, but GOD do I miss Streit. Our PP sucks!!! We could be leading this game 3-0...
I miss Souray....goal number 6 and 7 in Edmonton tonight, plus he could pound people. Lucic would not mess with him,,,
-
What do you think the over/under is on them getting a 5 on 3. 1 minute?
I think the refs may be Habs fans
-
Why the F##CK didn't he shoot in the open net?
-
I think Pleks thought he was against the glass there
-
WHO'S THE MAN?
-
I went over to Boone's blog and it sounds like we are stinkin' out the joint tonight. I see the same assessment here
Ya, but I'm here now........
-
O.K Boys !!!!
I'm here.....
Haven't been able to watch games the past week and a half. Obviously the boys need me.
2nd period action watch out for Koivu, Big and Lil TlTS, and uncle Kovalev. This is where everything starts to turn around.
HABBER-oooooooooooooo-Knows!!!!!!!!!!!
WHO's The MAN?????
-
Someone should also lobby for Andrei Kostitsyn to take propecia like Theo.
Hey no bald jokes. You might get yourself suspended.
-
It's simple. Pleks needs to stop playing like a little girl. It's starting to rub off on his linemates.
They'll shake it off boys. I think the team is starting to realize that even teams like St'Louis are coming hard against them and it's not going to change all season long.
I think a couple of powerplay goals and scoring first for a few games will turn this ship around. Plus Kovy needs to grow his hair out and start losing his helmet more often. He's much more effective that way.
I hope it happens soon, before we have to go through the rumor mill again, the summer was painful enough.
How about Sak's? Can we talk about something positive or are we waiting for him to slump so we can question his character and bash.
GO HABS GO!!!!!

You know a win is a win. They played a good game. They were down and kept coming back and they got two points.
O ya, and Lang got laid last night. He says so in this post game interview.
-
It's not just the last game that has me annoyed with Laraque; I think he's been pretty near useless in most of the games he's played, because he doesn't even throw decent hits. Wasn't exactly dominant in the two fights he has had either.
I thought he was great in the Florida game and not to shabby pounding Thorton last game against Boston.
Carbo and Muller don't really like the fighting aspect of the game. I'm pretty sure the same goes for Jarvis and Gainey. Although they've realized it's necessary, I'm sure they are not encouraging it. So that leaves him working on his game, which he is doing.....give it time. He will be a force once he understands his role. Fans and coaches included.
-
Wellwood is out of shape, but scoring goals, Foreman fought out of shape his whole carreer.......
Excuses, excuses, excuses.....
It's not over boys. We killed them last year and once this year. After one game where things didn't go our way you guys are all ready to burn BGL at the stake, along with the rest of the team.
Just wait!!!!!! Laraque sounds pissed in that interview, that's good. He hates Lucic now and basically called him a AHL little pu$$y fighter. Lucic will have to pay for his showboating.
The bad thing for us is Lucic is not a push over much like Cam Neely, he can hold his own.......I feel bad for Komi because he's just not a tough guy, He can't, and never could fight. Don't confuse him with Souray please. I hope Laraque is ready for Lucic and destroys him next game. Lucic can not have a good fight or stay in it because that will be considered a win......Laraque needs to completely cream him, anything less will be a loss. Until that happens I will not get on his butt like the rest of you.
These are the things that create a good rivalry. Enjoy it! Laraque will prove his worth soon enough as long as Carbo and Muller loosen the leash a little. Which will happen Saturday November 22, 2008.
If there is anything to worry about it's Price. The distance between brilliant and shit can not be as big as it's been. How do you look like Ken Dryden one night and then Abby the next......That's what we should be worried about......not BGL.
-
Laraque isnt a 100% of his form yet. He's overweight by about 15-20 pounds. He also suffers from his reputation as the league heavyweight champion. The list of guys who are willing to fight him grows shorter every year and with the instigator rule he can't just jump anyone.
So signing someone nobody wants to fight was not that great of an idea huh?
I'm glad we have him, but this is a problem everyone overlooked......great........
