  1. You my friend must be a sports fanatic like me! I have not seen all the game, but did I hear them say two grand slams? Turkey dinner is over and I just turned the game back on. WOW!!!!
  2. Only going by the bold comment from your post. I have noticed him taking chances with his passes as well. No worse than any one else as Koivu made a very bad pass in the third period and I thought Toronto was going to score.
  3. Trizzak you are right about the chances Sundstrom takes. It is good if you have total confidence in your goalie. This team is fun to watch, not like the old boring clutch, grab and hold they had to do in the past. Every team was guilty of this too. I am looking forward to Jose bouncing back like Sheldon did last night.
  4. Hi naslund26. I am new here too and say welcome to another habs fan! Never had any interest in boards until I found this one. A very good community....
  5.:lol: They were so Hyped that Berg and Belak were back and going to pound our rather small forwards.:lol: The T-DOT media bult this up and the flock believed them. Lindros only looked good because Theo gave away 3 goals last night. An early christmas present. I am eager to hear the T-Dot talk shows Monday.
  6. When did the Communist Broadcasting Corporation or Don "The Biggot" Cherry ever have anything good to say about Canada? They both just SUCK SUCK SUCK SUCK. Well you get my point they suck. As Homer Simpson of the Carton The Simpsons would say. They are the biggest bunch of suckiest sucks that ever sucked! (Or someting like this) Speaking of sucked, Allison the toronto savior that was thrown in my face by brothers and other leaf fan friends just sucked last night. He Sucks! Well, I dont want to throw any more comments like this in my post or you might get the impression I think Leaf fans, Don cherry, leaf media and CBC all suck. That would be rather rude of me would it not?
  7. WoW this thread is still going! Hasek is playing well, however Ottawa has to put up with our fast forwards and skill. Yes Montreal has to do a better job in front of Jose, and yes Jose has to get his act together for this game. I said Montreal would give Toronto 2 cheap goals but did not think Theo would give away 3 to make Toronto look good. Overall I am now impressed with this team because they are fast and dont give up. In years past after giving up a lead Montreal would have tanked it. now, after the other team scores Montreal comes right back and presses. What has me really excited is that the team is young. This means WHEN we get to the playoffs, the young guys will help the team go deep into the playoffs. Bulis is looking good and so is Bonk. Yes they are not perfect and sometimes pace themselves, but you have to consider it will be a long season. Sundstrom is looking good too. Koivu..Koivu...Koivu..Koivu Man I love this guy like one of my brothers. This guy inspires me to better at what I do. He is the leader of the team and really helped turn that game around last night. I know long post, so much happened in that game it was great fun..... [Edited on 2005/10/9 by Howie_Morenz]
  8. Now that is habs dedication! It is 11pm in Ontario and one of my buddies just called to go play NHL 2004 on his XBOX. I like it better than my Playstation, easier to score. Good Night Tommy9 and fellow habs fans.:hlogo:
  9. Very good point. I do think the coaches will find a wy to reduce goals to like 3 or 4. Montreal would not have had so many goals against tonight if Jose was sharper. Rules made no difference Jose just missed a couple. Now the Atlanta game, yikes!
  10. Avs 3 Dallas 2 final. Colorado had a 7 minute power play because Arnot and Guerin gooned up an AVS player for a hit on another Stars player. I am glad Montreal is more of a talented Euro type team with guys that want wins not retribution.
  11. I think it changes by the second. bondra got 6 points tonight.
  12. I think eventually the goals will be a little harder to get. NJ / NY game only had 5 goals. It is more fun watching playmakers instead of clutch and grab.
  13. Colorado has a seven minute power play. 6 minutes left in the game. I sure hope Montreal never gets on the receiving end of one of these.
  14. Thanks, I needed that laugh after watching the Boston overtime win.:/)
  15. I'm watching the game right now and 30 seconds left. Boston power play.
  16. hahahahaha so true. I like your new avatar, reminds me of a picture I use to have of Leaf fans lining up for a bus with the sign "Leaf Bandwaon" when they were winning.
  17. This season is starting off great. 3 Road victories in a row. (Tough to do) 6 Starting rookies contributing to wins. Markov looking great in 3 games, takes some of the pressure off Souray to be perfect. 4 lines going so Koivu line does not get warn out. Jose has a bad game and Montreal wins! Best part for me I dont have to hear Leaf victory Crap all next week on Toronto radio. Thank you Montreal Canadiens for a great week..........
  18. Guys that play well with no points are always eclipsed by those that score. Bulis, Bonk played a strong game. Markov took out Allison which was my play of the game. Not a real hard hit but stood him up.
  19. Nono, switch Kovalev and Koivu around. Does not really matter. My point wwas Lindros a star? Maybe when he played on Philly...
  20. It is in Toronto remember. Don't want the laff fans to be too discouraged. But, announced at the ACC I believe the stars were 1 Koivu 2 Lindros 3 Kovalev Yeah, I just checked NHL.com and they said the same as you. [Edited on 2005/10/9 by dark_faerie87] Sorry guys I was watching RDS. Oops foot in mouth disease.
  21. Wow Atlanta 8 Washington 1 Pittsburg 6 Boston 4 hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
  22. Huh? He was still playing but you are right, he should be missing some serious time warming the bench. This was a great game for Montreal as Bulis_the_Habbie would say, important 2 points. If Theo stopped 3 of the tose bad goals it would really have been one sided. If Montreal can keep up this pressure offense all year they are going to finish with at least 101 points. I know it is early but the strengths are the team determination to win. Have not seen this since the last cup run.
