Did you guys notice who was on the ice for the habs first power play?3rd line! Thats right ,bonk, sunny and begin. You think that was a message for the vets? I think so......

  2. Two players that come to mind when reading this post would be Perezhogin and plekanec....I know there both on the 4th line with little ice time, but still i just dont see or feel the hunger from these two anymore???As for higgins here is a kid who is getting more hungery every game so at the same time becoming a better player every game! What a treat to watch.....

  3. Great posts guys... I go back to the mid 70s as a small boy watching habs every saturday nite in front of the tv with my little brother and my father in the background on the couch.....die hard fan ever since,we all went threw some hard times (1995-2000) but even watching our habs loose almost every nite there was never one moment I did not feel the pride and respect of our beloved Canadiens....I now have 3 sons which I named Maurice,Jean,Guy (just joking could not get that past the wife) But the two oldest boys are now habs fans and every saturday nite we sit down watching the greatest hockey team of all time!!!! so proud I am as a father now!!!!

  4. Two guys from Toronto die and wake up in hell.

The next day the devil stops in to check on them and sees them dressed in parkas, mittens and toques warming themselves around the fire. The devil asks them, "What are you doing? Isn’t it hot enough for you?"

The two guys reply, "Well, you know, we’re from Canada, the land of snow and ice and cold. We’re just happy for a chance to warm up a little bit, eh."

The devil decides that these two aren’t miserable enough and turns up the heat.

The next morning he stops in again and there they are, still dressed in parkas, toques and mittens. The devil asks them again, "It’s awfully hot down here, can’t you guys feel it?"

Again the two guys reply, "Well, like we told ya yesterday, we’re from Canada, the land of snow and ice and cold. We’re just happy for a chance to warm up a little bit, eh."

This gets the devil a little steamed up and he decides to fix these two guys. He cranks the heat up as high as it will go. The people are wailing and screaming everywhere. He stops by the room with the two guys from Canada and finds them in light jackets and bucket hats, grilling sausage and drinking beer.

The devil is astonished, "Everyone down here is in abject misery, and you two seem to be enjoying yourselves."

The two Canadians reply, "Well, ya know, we don’t get too much warm weather up there in Toronto so we’ve just got to have a cook-out when the weather’s THIS nice."

The devil is absolutely furious, he can hardly see straight. Finally he comes up with the answer. The two guys love the heat because they have been cold all their lives. The devil decides to turn all the heat off in hell.

The next morning, the temperature is below zero, icicles are hanging everywhere; people are shivering so bad that they are unable to do anything but wail, moan and gnash their teeth.

The devil smiles and heads for the room with the two Canadians.

He gets there and finds them back in their parkas, toques, and mittens. NOW they are jumping up and down, cheering, yelling and screaming like mad men!!!

The devil is dumbfounded, "I don’t understand, when I turn up the heat you’re happy. Now it’s freezing cold and you’re still happy. What is wrong with you two???"

The Torontonians look at the devil in surprise, "Well, don’t you know? If Hell freezes over, it must mean the Leafs have won the Stanley Cup."

Come on boys big win tonite:ghg:

  5. Jeff Hackets Goalie mask??

About a year ago on the Internet,I tried to find infomation on getting my self a replica goalie mask of Jeff Hacket when he played for us as a Montreal Canadien.I tried some of the habs forums with nothing for my efforts. What I am looking for is the mask he wore with the two little boys playing pond hockey wearing the home and away jersey. What more symbolizes the history of our beloved Habs!!I need to get my hands on one. Anyone with any information can you please let me know???

    Thanks:hlogo::hlogo::ghg:

Ken Dryden was one of my favorites growing up as a kid, and would of made this list 10 years ago...But how do you respect a former habs who was willing to help the maple laughs win a stanley cup! Not this kid!!

    GO HABS GO!!!!!!:hlogo:

  7. great game from our habs last nite. The only thing that prevented us liting it up on the maple laughs were the power plays given to both teams every two minuts! Just when the habs started to gain momentum there goes the ****** whistle again with the refs arm up in air.It seems when the FLOW of the game gets going there is nobody in the NHL that will stop this team.(I get a tear in my eye just thinking about it) the 4th line wow can these kids play!! Nobody is leaving anywhere ,we must find room for them some way or another.

    Zednik - Koivu - Kovalev

    Perezhogin - Ribeiro - Ryder

    Bulis - Bonk - Hossa

    Higgins - Begin - Plekanec
