I keep hearing Pleks and Emelin to Col for O'Reilly..I don't think Emelin would refuse to go to Col? Young team with tons of potential and in need of veteran D..and one year removed from a division title

I would think either Gilbert or Emelin are going somewhere..I wouldn't think we could unload Emelin without retaining some salary though

Now that Petry is signed, sealed and delivered..what do you suppose MB could do next? New contract for AG, Beaulieu, and/or Tinordi? Pull the trigger on a suspected Plek(and then some)/O'Reilly trade? What to do with Gilbert? Any contract buyout? Or focus on the draft?

Suppose another team (most likely an EC team) extends an offer sheet to Beaulieu worth a ridiculous amount (4mil?/yr) and MB can't/won't match the offer? Are we screwed and only get a miniscule compensation?

Worth every penny imo. Was he or was he not our best D in the playoffs? And quite frankly, once he got adjusted to the trade/teammates/system/city he was brilliant. Kudos MB!

Tinordi must not know where the gym or the fridge are..seems like he's taking forever to get stronger. I believe he's at around 220-222 lbs..If he ever gets to 230-235 lbs, watch out

Exactly..now it's time for MB to wave that magic wand. Maybe there's a deal out there, who knows. I could be fishing here, but I'm hoping the Petry signing was a prelude to a bigger deal? Like maybe MB assured Petry that there was already a deal in place for that missing centerman, thus persuading Petry to sign on long term? Phew, talk about fishing!
