I agree. Prust's 2.5 is a hefty paycheck for a 4th liner that offers very little offense. I'm hoping MB re-signs Flynn

Brandon Prust: keep him or move him? Seems like we have plenty of 4th liners in the system. We've got young up-n-comers that just may create some offense and at less than half his salary? Are his intangibles worth the roster spot I wonder?

No idea as to why he fired his agent, but i'd guess something along those lines may be the reason(s). I doubt AG has the leverage that AG may think he has

If the price is right, and T-O retains salary, then yes I'd acquire Kessel. And if I were MT I'd put him with Alex and Max and turn them loose. Everybody else plays "The System" and waits for the turnovers

I don't know why we're even bothering with "what ifs" because suppose MB does magically acquire a scoring forward, won't MT's system put the handcuffs on him? The dreaded "dump and chase" will certainly nullify any plan of attack. Granted, MT HAS to plan his game around his current arsenal. However, I'm wondering: will he adapt as the lineup improves? That's a head-scratcher

Here's what I propose:
Keep #26 and select Sprong (I know he's an idiot, but we supposedly have a great room and i'm assuming the leaders will set him straight)
Trade Emelin to Carolina for their #35..that'll suit both teams just fine as Car is desperate for D help and it'll free up 4 mil for the other big move..which I have no idea yet
