  1. I'm actually enjoying watching Healy lately. It obviously pains him to see the Leafs in such desperate straits - you can see the frustration and stress he's under. Quite amusing, methinks.
  2. FYI - Wellwood was one of the shootout-ers last night. He made too many moves/fakes, and forgot to get a decent shot off. As for tonight, I think we have a good chance. I think it will be high scoring again: 5-4 Habs. Kovalev will do some damage in this one. Even though he didn't contribute much statistically against Toronto, IMO his puck possession led to the general momentum we got going that put us over the top. (That, and of course Koivu's fantastic play). Let's git it on!
  3. Perez looked good, for the most part. However, he'll no doubt have his lapses as the year goes on, as rookies will. As for Dags, I don't think we should overreact. Some that are willing to give certain players time to adjust to the new season/new rules haven't been willing to extend this to Dags. During Perez's ramp-up, Dags is a decent (and cheap) depth player to put in during the lapses, or to cover injuries. Dags will undoubtedly be obsolete at some point, but there's no need to send him anywhere now.
  4. Welcome Mont Royale. You'll enjoy your time with this community. Many colourful personalities sharing a wide variety of opinions. Game nights are especially interesting as you follow the flow of the discussion during the ups & downs of the action. :hlogo::ghg::hlogo: Thanks, shortcat. I've been reading for awhile now, and finally got around to registering. Looks like a good group of fans - I'm sure I'll enjoy mixing with the colourful personalities! :hlogo::/):hlogo:
  5. A nice result on the road, even if there were some bumps along the way. I'm hoping Dandy and Souray figure out the new (old) rules and get it together (respectively) soon. I agree with Becks that Kovalev hasn't been overly impressive so far... but I'm confident he'll pull it together. He's looking comfortable out there, and getting chances; it's a matter of time. I like James Duthie's comment: Mike Ryder is on pace for 82 game-winning goals! And the Habs, for 164 points. (Ah, to dream.)
