  1. It's time for puck drop at Copps as Hamilton plays their penultimate game of the season hosting Grand Rapids. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Anderson/Minard (21) Assists: Jamie Johnson (37) Points: Jamie Johnson (57) +/-: Doug Janik (+18) PIMS: Garnet Exelby (175) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (19) Assists: St-Denis/Willsie (25) Points: Brian Willsie (43) +/-: Alex Henry (+1) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (257) Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  2. The Bulldogs begin their final stretch of games in the 2011-12 season tonight. Because the schedule maker didn't think a 12 game, 26 day road trip was bad enough, Hamilton is on the road again...and kicking off a 3-in-3 stretch. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (19) Assists: St-Denis/Willsie (25) Points: Brian Willsie (42) +/-: Alex Henry (+2) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (257) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Evan Brophey (18) Assists: Barrie/Malone (25) Points: Evan Brophey (39) +/-: Cameron Gaunce (+18) PIMS: David Liffiton (149) Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  3. The lottery is tonight, here are the odds that each team can win (note that only bolded ones can win the top pick) 30th CBJ = 25.0% (250 combinations) 29th EDM = 18.8% (188 combinations) 28th MTL = 14.2% (142 combinations) 27th NYI = 10.7% (107 combinations) 26th TOR = 8.1% (81 combinations) 25th ANA = 6.2% (62 combinations) 24th MIN = 4.7% (47 combinations) 23rd CAR = 3.6% (36 combinations) 22nd WPG = 2.7% (27 combinations) 21st TB = 2.1% (21 combinations) 20th WSH (via COL) = 1.5% (15 combinations) 19th BUF = 1.1% (11 combinations) 18th DAL = 0.8% (08 combinations) 17th CGY = 0.5% (05 combinations) CSB rankings: http://www.nhl.com/i...s.htm?id=626755 Lottery drawing overview and history: http://www.nhl.com/i...ge.htm?id=68856 Montreal's exact odds of picking in each spot: 1st: 14.2% 3rd: 56.1% 4th: 29.7% Break out the good luck charms...
  4. Do not adjust your screen, you read the title correctly. The Bulldogs...have a home game. Their one game homestand starts and ends tonight as they host Rochester in what is for all intents and purposes, a must win game. Some good news is that Nathan Lawson, Joe Callahan, and Garrett Stafford all return tonight. If they can hold on past tomorrow when the rest of the cavalry comes (Mayer, St-Denis, Leblanc, Palushaj, Geoffrion, and Dumont) - heck, I'd be filing their demotion papers the second the final buzzer sounds in Montreal to get them available for tomorrow - they'd have most hands on deck to make a last ditch attempt. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Derek Whitmore (27) Assists: Phil Varone (40) Points: Phil Varone (49) +/-: Paul Szczechura (+13) PIMS: Joe Finley (135) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (19) Assists: Brian Willsie (24) Points: Brian Willsie (40) +/-: Jesse Todd (+3) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (237) Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/

Wow, 27th with such a nice team.
  6. The good news? It's the final game of this insane road trip. The bad news? The schedule makers saved the toughest matchup for last as Hamilton takes on conference-leading Oklahoma City. The biggest mystery is who will back up Peter Delmas as he's the only healthy goalie on the team at the moment. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (19) Assists: Brian Willsie (24) Points: Brian Willsie (40) +/-: Henry/Todd (+3) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (235) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Phillipe Cornet (24) Assists: Ryan Keller (28) Points: Ryan Keller (47) +/-: Ryan Keller (+22) PIMS: Triston Grant (134) Puck drop is at 8:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  7. The Bulldogs get another body back tonight as Olivier Fortier returns to the lineup after missing the last 19 games with a lower body injury. Unfortunately he won't take the place of Robert Mayer who is likely to start again. Hamilton is currently 7 points out of a playoff spot. This is the first meeting between the teams after the hard fought, devastating Game 7 loss in last year's conference finals where there were multiple controversies in the final two minutes, both going against Hamilton. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (19) Assists: Brian Willsie (24) Points: Engqvist/Willsie (38) +/-: Jesse Todd (+3) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (235) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Jon DeSalvatore (26) Assists: Justin Fontaine (35) Points:Jon DeSalvatore (57) +/-: Chad Rau (+5) PIMS: Drew Bagnall (93) Puck drop is at 8:30 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  8. Cole-Desharnais-Pacioretty Bourque-Plekanec-Leblanc Geoffrion*-Eller-Blunden Staubitz-Nokelainen-Palushaj Gorges-Subban Emelin-Markov Campoli-St Denis Budaj * - assuming White once again can't go Ovechkin-Backstrom-Johansson (yes, Backstrom is back...too late for my pool's sake though...) Hendricks-Laich-Knuble Chimera-Perreault-Semin Aucoin-Beagle-Brouwer Alzner-Wideman Hamrlik-Green Carlson-Orlov Neuvirth Puck drop is at 7 PM on CBC and RDS.
  9. I didn't even remember the Bulldogs played tonight until just now, wonder if they'll mention Gauthier's firing since he was Hamilton's GM as well. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (19) Assists: Brian Willsie (23) Points: Andreas Engqvist (37) +/-: Robert Slaney (+3) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (235) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Matt Fraser (31) Assists: Travis Morin (48) Points: Travis Morin (58) +/-: Francis Wathier (+1) PIMS: Luke Gazdic (100) Puck drop is at 8:30 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  10. Another day, another road game. It's game number who hasn't lost count by now (actually I think it's Game 9) of this never-ending road trip as the Bulldogs travel to San Antonio with the hopes of dealing a blow to one of the teams they're trying to catch for the playoffs. (By the way, there's a 4 way tie for 6th in Hamilton's conference, all 8 points up on the Dogs.) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (19) Assists: Brian Willsie (23) Points: Andreas Engqvist (37) +/-: Flanigan/Slaney/Todd (+2) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (229) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Bill Thomas (25) Assists: Jonathan Matsumoto (35) Points: Jonathan Matsumoto (55) +/-: Nolan Yonkman (+17) PIMS: Eric Selleck (192) Puck drop is at 8:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/

  12. The Bulldogs will look to make it a winning weekend as they travel to Peoria to take on the Rivermen. Nathan Lawson was injured yesterday meaning Peter Delmas is up and I'm sure we're all hopeful he gets the start...yet highly skeptical that he actually will. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (19) Assists: Brian Willsie (23) Points: Andreas Engqvist (36) +/-: Robert Slaney (+3) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (229) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Derek Nesbitt (21) Assists: T.J. Hensick (45) Points: T.J. Hensick (65) +/-: Cade Fairchild (+29) (Active league leader) PIMS: Anthony Peluso (151) Puck drop is at 6:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  13. Down yet another defenceman, the remnants of the Bulldogs travel to Chicago to take on the Wolves in the middle match of their 3-in-3 trip. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (19) Assists: Brian Willsie (23) Points: Andreas Engqvist (35) +/-: Robert Slaney (+2) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (229) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Mark Mancari (26) Assists: Darren Haydar (30) Points: Mark Mancari (51) +/-: Tim Miller (+16) PIMS: Matt Clackson (167) Puck drop is at 8:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/

  15. The Bulldogs kick off a 3-in-3 stretch (since a 12 game road trip isn't bad enough) as they take on the Admirals...from Milwaukee thankfully and not Norfolk. With a win, Hamilton would be 1 point behind Milwaukee and could move into a tie for...14th in the West. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (19) Assists: Frederic St-Denis (25) Points: Andreas Engqvist (35) +/-: Henry/Slaney (+2) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (229) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Chris Mueller (26) Assists: Kyle Wilson (26) Points: Chris Mueller (49) +/-: Scott Ford (+17) PIMS: Zack Stortini (120) Puck drop is at 8:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/

  17. Armed with some new faces, the Bulldogs travel to Rockford to play the IceHogs. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (19) Assists: Frederic St-Denis (25) Points: Andreas Engqvist (35) +/-: Robert Slaney (+2) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (227) Active scoring leaders: Goals: LeBlanc/Pirri (22) Assists: Brandon Pirri (28) Points: Brandon Pirri (50) +/-: Matt Fornataro (+10) PIMS: Jeremy Morin (107) Puck drop is at 8:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  18. Tonight is the second half of the back-to-back set against the IceCaps. Hamilton will be short their #1 healthy defenceman (to go along with their top-2 injured ones) as St-Denis is with the Habs. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (19) Assists: Brian Willsie (21) Points: Andreas Engqvist (35) +/-: Alex Henry/Robert Slaney (+3) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (216) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Jason King (18) Assists: Spencer Machacek (31) Points: Spencer Machacek (45) +/-: Arturs Kulda (+18) PIMS: Garth Murray (96) Puck drop is at 6:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  19. The road trip kicks off with a doozy (I know the Toronto game was on the road but going to Toronto isn't a true trip) as the Bulldogs take on the IceCaps who sit 2nd in the AHL in the first of a back-to-back. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (18) Assists: Frederic St-Denis (23) Points: Andreas Engqvist (34) +/-: Alex Henry/Robert Slaney (+2) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (212) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Jason Jaffray/Jason King (17) Assists: Spencer Machacek (31) Points: Spencer Machacek (45) +/-: Arturs Kulda (+19) PIMS: Garth Murray (96) Puck drop is at 7:30 PM NDT (which I think is 6:00 PM EST) and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/

  23. What's left of the Hamilton Bulldogs play their final home game for nearly a month (12 game road trip thanks to Disney on Ice) as they host the Marlies in Pink at the Rink (or Pink on the Rink, I forget which) night.
