Favourite Habs

  1. Carolina: Ruutu-Staal-Tlusty Jokinen-Skinner-Samson Nodl-Sutter-Dwyer Stewart-Brent-Larose Gleason-Allen Harrison-Faulk Spacek-McBain Ward Montreal: Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Eller-Leblanc Darche-Plekanec-Kostitsyn Gomez-Palushaj Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Diaz Campoli Price Moen has suffered a setback in his previous upper body injury and is out DTD...which as we all know means nothing. Weber and Nokelainen both skated but neither will play. White and Schultz both did not skate but are available to play. The lineup is just the same as last game, there is no official word on which, if either, callup will play. Puck drop is at 7:30 on RDS and TSN Habs.
  2. It's a Habs-Leafs doubleheader of sorts as the Baby Habs travel to Toronto to take on the Baby Leafs in the 2nd game of their 3-in-3 stretch. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (16) Assists: Garrett Stafford (18) Points: Andreas Engqvist (28) +/-: Alex Henry (+6) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (163) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Ryan Hamilton (18) Assists: Mike Zigomanis (31) Points: Mike Zigomanis (44) +/-: Colborne/Paris (+10) PIMS: Kyle Neuber (109) Puck drop is at 3:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  3. Montreal: Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Eller-Leblanc Darche-Plekanec-Kostitsyn Gomez-Palushaj Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Diaz Campoli Price Toronto: Lupul-Bozak-Kessel McArthur-Grabovski-Kulemin* Lombardi-Connolly-Crabb Brown-Steckel-Armstrong Gunnarsson-Phaneuf Gardiner-Schenn Liles-Franson Reimer (Kulemin is questionable for personal reasons. I read yesterday that Darryl Boyce may play regardless of Kulemin's status so someone else may be out too.) Puck drop is at 7:00 on RDS and CBC. Note that the start will be delayed due to Mats Sundin's jersey honouring.
  4. The playoff talk should be set aside for tonight. At this point, Hamilton simply needs to get out of the division cellar before the words Bulldogs and postseason get mentioned in the same sentence together. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Joe Whitney (12) Assists: Vladimir Zharkov (17) Points: Joe Whitney (26) PIMS: Darcy Zajac (65) +/-: Mike Sislo (+9) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (15) Assists: Garrett Stafford (18) Points: Andreas Engqvist (27) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (163) +/-: Alex Henry (+6) Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  5. Montreal: Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Eller-Leblanc Darche-Plekanec-Moen Gomez-Kostitsyn Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Diaz Campoli Price (Palushaj is also available, this is just last game's lineup with Diaz (flu) now able to play, replacing Weber.) NY Islanders: Moulson-Tavares-Okposo Grabner-Nielsen-Parenteau Rakhshani-Bailey-Martin Wallace-Pandolfo-Niederreiter Streit-Staios MacDonald-Reese Eaton-Ness Nabokov Puck drop is at 7:00 on RDS.
  6. Pittsburgh: Kunitz-Malkin-Neal Cooke-Jeffrey-Dupuis Sullivan-O'Reilly-Kennedy Adams-Vitale-Park Orpik-Letang Martin-Michalek Niskanen-Engelland Fleury Montreal: Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Plekanec-Kostitsyn Darche-Gomez-Eller Moen*-Leblanc Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Weber Campoli Price (Moen is a game time decision, no word on which D would sit if he does play so I'm using the same lineup as last game.) Puck drop is at 7:30 on RDS and TSN-Habs.
  7. Another quick one as I don't have the time to do a fancy one today... Winnipeg: Ladd-Little-Wheeler Fehr-Antropov-Wellwood Glass-Slater-Thorburn Miettinen-Burmistrov-Gagnon Enstrom-Byfuglien Hainsey-Bogosian Stuart-Oduya Pavelec Montreal: Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Plekanec-Kostitsyn Darche-Gomez-Eller Leblanc-Palushaj Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Diaz Campoli Price Puck drop is at 2:00 on RDS and CBC.
  8. It's the second half of the back to back road series for the Bulldogs as they will be looking for a win to ensure they're not sitting dead last in the division at the end of the night. On the flip side, they could be 2 points out of 2nd with a win. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (14) Assists: Garrett Stafford (18) Points: Engqvist/Willsie (26) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (161) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+6) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Jamie Johnson (16) Assists: Gustaf Nyquist (28) Points: Gustaf Nyquist (40) PIMS: Garnet Exelby (136) +/-: Doug Janik (+17) Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  9. The Bulldogs begin a crucial back-to-back road series tonight as they're in Grand Rapids to take on the Griffins. Hamilton trails Detroit's farm squad by one point for third in the division. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (13) Assists: Garrett Stafford (18) Points: Brian Willsie (25) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (146) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+7) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Jamie Johnson (16) Assists: Gustaf Nyquist (28) Points: Gustaf Nyquist (40) PIMS: Garnet Exelby (130) +/-: Doug Janik (+16) Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  10. I know it's tough to get excited when losing but how on earth isn't there a GDT an hour before game time? Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Plekanec-Gomez Darche-Eller-Blunden Kostitsyn-Leblanc-Weber Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Diaz Price Parise-Zubrus-Kovalchuk Clarkson-Elias-Sykora Ponikarovsky-Josefson-Bernier Boulton-Carter-Mills Volchenkov-Foster Greene-Larsson Salvador-Fayne Brodeur Puck drop is at 7:00 on RDS and TSN Habs.
  11. It's a case of good news/bad news for the Bulldogs. The good news is that they're playing the worst team in their conference. The bad news is that despite that fact, Hamilton has lost 4 straight against the Monsters. The other good news is that since they played just earlier this week, I could just get away with copy/pasting the rest of the thread and barely had to make any changes, Active scoring leaders: Goals: Engqvist/Palushaj (13) Assists: Garrett Stafford (18) Points: Aaron Palushaj (28) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (146) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+8) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Hugh Jessiman (20) Assists: Tyson Barrie (22) Points: Tyson Barrie (27) PIMS: David Liffiton (81) +/-: Cameron Gaunce (+11) Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  12. It doesn't appear that johnnyhasbeen is getting the GDT (guess he's got a winning feeling tonight) so I'll toss one together. Franzen-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Filppula-Zetterberg-Hudler Miller-Helm-Cleary Emmerton-Abdelkader-Holmstrom Lidstrom*-White Kronwall-Stuart Ericsson-Kindl Howard Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Plekanec-Gomez* Darche-Eller-Kostitsyn Engqvist-Blunden Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Diaz Weber Price * - player has the flu and is questionable. I'm guessing on the Hab lines as with Moen out, that will mess things up somewhat. Puck drop is at 7:30 on RDS, TSN (main network), and NBC SP (formerly known as Versus).
  13. Wow, there was nearly a whole four weeks between matchups for Lake Erie and Hamilton. This time, Hamilton makes the trek to Lake Erie (and will also make the trek before a game on Saturday, gotta love the AHL's scheduling...) Garrett Stafford (suspension) is a no-go for the Bulldogs. With a win, Lake Erie would move into a 3-way tie with Hamilton for 3rd in the division. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (13) Assists: Garrett Stafford (17) Points: Aaron Palushaj (27) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (146) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+9) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Hugh Jessiman (19) Assists: Tyson Barrie (21) Points: Tyson Barrie (26) PIMS: David Liffiton (77) +/-: Cameron Gaunce (+13) Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  14. The Bulldogs get back to business on Saturday as they host Toronto in the Steeltown Showdown...at Ivor Wynne Stadium, home of the Ti-Cats. Lawson was hoping to play in this one although the starter is not yet known. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Ryan Hamilton (17) Assists: Mike Zigomanis (28) Points: Mike Zigomanis (36) +/-: Drew Paris (+8) PIMS: Kyle Neuber (93) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (13) Assists: Garrett Stafford (16) Points: Aaron Palushaj (27) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+12) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (141) Puck drop is at 1:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/ Or, you can catch the game on Sportsnet East, Ontario, West, and Pacific.
  15. The Admirals (of the Milwaukee variety, not the Norfolk one) are in Hamilton tonight to take on the Bulldogs who I believe will once again be without Brian Willsie (injured vs Rochester). Nathan Lawson will dress, not sure if he's starting though. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Chris Mueller (15) Assists: Victor Bartley (16) Points: Chris Mueller (26) +/-: Tyler Sloan (+17) PIMS: Michael Latta (67) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (13) Assists: Stafford/Willsie (15) Points: Aaron Palushaj (25) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+11) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (141) Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/

  19. It's a big game for Hamilton as tonight they travel to Rochester to take on the Americans. With a regulation win, Hamilton would get within 1 point of 2nd place (Rochester) in the division (yes, their division is really bad). Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (12) Assists: Brian Willsie (15) Points: Aaron Palushaj (25) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (139) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+11) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Derek Whitmore (15) Assists: Varone/Voakes (15) Points: Derek Whitmore (24) PIMS: Marcus Foligno (57) +/-: Mark Voakes (+10) Puck drop is at 7:35 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  20. Another week, another 3-in-3 forthcoming for the Bulldogs who travel to Adirondack to face the Phantoms. Nathan Lawson remains out with a concussion but fortunately Delmas is up meaning no more DiPronio. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (12) Assists: Palushaj/Willsie (14) Points: Aaron Palushaj (23) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+11) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (134) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Denis Hamel (11) Assists: Jason Akeson (19) Points: Jason Akeson (28) +/-: Tom Sestito (+4) PIMS: Tom Sestito (110) Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  21. 22. It's not my turn for the GDT so I'll wait to see if Brian wants to risk the streak and let me do the GDT....while you're here...take a look at the the chief de canadiens (haha is this anywheres even close to correct? My french is terrible) when he was a player:
  23. The Bulldogs end their 3-in-3 series looking for a sweep as they host former Hamilton goalie Yann Danis and the league leading Barons in another afternoon affair. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Phillipe Cornet (17) Assists: Keller/Helmer (15) Points: Ryan Keller (28) +/-: Ryan Keller (+13) PIMS: Triston Grant (74) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (10) Assists: Brian Willsie (14) Points: Aaron Palushaj (21) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+10) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (122) Puck drop is at 3:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  24. Game 2 of Hamilton's 3-in-3 this weekend takes them to Toronto for an afternoon affair against the division leading Marlies. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (9) Assists: St-Denis/Willsie (13) Points: Aaron Palushaj (19) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+8) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (122) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Ryan Hamilton (15) Assists: Mike Zigomanis (25) Points: Mike Zigomanis (32) +/-: Drew Paris (+8) PIMS: Kyle Neuber (88) Puck drop is at 3:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  25. Tampa Bay: Downie - Stamkos - St. Louis Moore - Lecavalier - Connolly Pyatt - Thompson - Purcell Labrie/Malone* - Tyrell Kubina - Brewer Clark - Gilroy Gervais - Mikkelson Bergeron Garon * Malone skated yesterday without issues so he may very well suit up. P-C Labrie will play otherwise. Montreal: Cammalleri* - Plekanec - Gionta Pacioretty - Desharnais - Cole Moen - Eller - Kostitsyn* Darche - Nokelainen - Blunden Gorges - Subban Gill - Kaberle Emelin - Diaz Price * - Cammalleri/Kostitsyn both missed today's skate and thus have to be assumed as questionable. Emelin, despite taking a shot to the face in practice yesterday, will play with a full cage. Cunneyworth noted he likes the idea of dressing 7 D which suggests one of the 4th liners will come out of the lineup. Puck drop is at 7:00, on CBC and RDS.
