Washington already has a ton of high picks in this draft, I really see no need for them to trade down... you don't get a shot at a special player like Ovechkin very often and it would be a terrible mistake to pass up on him IMO. Leafs Suck Posted June 21, 2004 Share Posted June 21, 2004 Hawks already have a solid future with Ruutu, Yakubov, Vorobiev, Babchuk, Seabroook, McCarthy, Bell, Calder, etc.. and now maybe Ovechkin...
