Doktor Kosmos
Pardon me if this has been discussed already, but if so then I have missed it. ANyway... I have a question: If the new CBA is NOT ratified, will there still be a draft lotter? Or does the lottery have nothing at all to do with the CBA? Psycing
IF the new CBA is not ratified, meaning players vote against it.... then there will not be a Draft lottery. Simply because if there is no ratification, there is no CBA, and without a CBA, you cannot have a draft. (Well, at least I highly doubt they would have a draft.) However, we really shouldn't need to worry, it seems that the players just want to get back on the ice, so things should go smoothly and we'll see where Crosby ends up tomorrow. Doktor Kosmos
No, no, I wasn't worried, I was just thinking. As excited as I am, I feel that one "shouldn't sell the skin before you've shot the bear", as the Swedish saying goes. :/) [Edited on 2005/7/21 by Doktor Kosmos]

JLP
What about our second round pick, didn't we give that to the Rangers? Is that conditional on Kovalev resigning with us?
