gohabsgo252006 Posted August 31, 2005 Share Posted August 31, 2005 I've got this from another forum: They say that Jean Page of TQS is reporting that Gainey offered Theo a 4 year / 5.5M per, while Meehan and Theo countered with 5 yr / 5.2M per w/ a NO trade clause (not sure the details). They say that Gainey has till tommorow to decide if he wants to accept the Meehan proposal if not, Theo will sign the 1 yr QO and become UFA next summer. Sorry about that, I just thought I'd pass it along, I'll be better able to comment on the accuracy in a couple of hours. Sorry I can't be a better help. If you hear something on another board, than talk about it there. We are not interested in the fantasies of some loser on another board.
