Plus trading for guys like Zednik and Bulis and obtaining Bonk without mortgaging the future helps. At one time, we were after Owan Nolan and it would have cost us. Fortunately the Leafs outbid us. 1st rounder+Brad Boyes+ Alan McCalley really left Toronto with nothing. Now that they have nothing it will show by mid season when every one is worn out. I sure hope we do not trade away our first round choice next year because the team has to keep the pipeline going to add talent every year. The Leaf or Ranger model cannot work! The Rangers are getting serious. Their new roster has brought them form my second least favourite team to my second favourite. My English Teacher is like a Psychiatrist so he makes us a write a journal about a diffeent topic every day and I pretty much write about hockey every day and then get marked on it. Yesterday (Friday) I wrote a full page (single spaced) on the transformation of the Ranger sin the past year. The most skilled team in the league with a European laden line-up. I love Europeans! They're fast and can handle the puck. Jagr, Straka, Hossa, Poti, Kasparaitis, Malik, Rucchin, Nylander, etc. Ohhhh NYLANDER!! I like this team and they're not the free-spending team they once were.
