InsaneHABSfan
Buying out Tie Domi would cost the Leafs $833,000 US. Replacing him on the fourth line will cost a minimum of $450,000. In other words, the Leafs would be paying more to replace him ($1.28 million) than to keep him ($1.25 million). http://torontosun.com/Sports/OtherSports/2...616703-sun.html ----------------------------------- Removing Tie Domi from the lineup will make Don Cherry pop a cork. I will have to start watching coaches Homer Leaf Corner on Leaf B C...oops... CBC.
shortcat1
The article was just supposing a situation. It was looking at what would happen if this was done. They also looked at what to do about Nik Antropov. Just someguy thinking on paper and being paid for it. :king: :hlogo: :king:

He also is not getting much in the way of minutes so his effectiveness as ????? whatever he does is not helping put up wins. Paul Maurice likes the young guys he had in Toronto's AHL club and will play them. The coach will add about 7 minutes to Sundin's ice time, so someone loses. Normally I ignore these articles, however in this case it makes sense if the Leafs want to be a team that competes, or just stay a bunch of hacks that cannot get to the big picture.
