  1. Speaking of gamethreads We lost. doesn't that mean someone else starts it? Maca? and what happened to Cataclaw, I thought Spidey was back too. We need to get HW team together if we expect our boys to get it together. Nothing against your threads Kozed ....they're just fine, just curious to what happened to everyone.
  2. True, in the 93 cup run Muller was frozen with cortisone for every game with the exact same rib injury Chara has. Savard's had his back frozen since the start of the series. It's a part of every cup run no matter who you are. I doubt Koivu or The Cube are 100%, but it doesn't matter at this time of year. I don't think Markov or the team have been that bad to raise questions about their play-off value. We are simply playing a team that is executing Juliens hard hitting defensive trap very well at the moment. Forget the fact we've beat-up on Boston all year, they figured out how to play against us. Now it's up to us to counter that. I hope they figure it out tonight injured or not, it doesn't matter.
  3. I think everyone is with you in your statement. All I hope for is that he lights a spark in the rest of the team. We need some sort of juice to put this thing away and move on to the next round. It would be nice if the TlTTlIES can get bouncing again.
  4. Why do you keep running away like a little "plekanec" I don't think it's important to bust up the 1st line like many are suggesting. Little changes throughout the game would be fine. Put Koivu on the top powerplay once and unite the TlTs on the second unit with Pleks. I don't think anyone is playing crappy, the B' trap is stifling us and Carbo and the gang need to bust out of it. They're trying and will prevail. Who thought it was going to be easy?
  5. If it goes to game seven....IF.......I hope Koivu is back for game 6. I just can't see him making a dramatic difference after putting on skates for the first time in three weeks a few days ago. If he gets in game 6, he'll be fresh and ready to battle hard in game 7. ahhhhhhhhhhh SHlT, I'm so nervous.
  6. This thread should be called GUT CHECK, instead of reality check. What scares me the most is Julien has the B's playing like we did in 2004 with an added bonus of heavy hitting and the positive thinking of ''We can do this" Julien knows he can out coach Carbo at this point in they're careers. Muller said we don't look like ourselves out there. We are not attacking like we did all season. It's obvious our players are not understanding what it's going to take to win, and I doubt Carbo can press a button to make them understand. Juliens counter is stifling carbos attack. It's going to be close. It just might come down to two more overtimes, and I hope Carey Price is ready. He will be the deciding factor seeing we can't really get anyting past Thomas. It's not so much Thomas either, but he is good enough to stop what Boston's defense is letting us throw at him. At this point I have to trust our boys will pull it off, we've had a great season and would like to keep rolling past the 1st round. Let's keep the posts positive guys and cheer our young team on. Bashing everyone and everything will just kill the spirit of the amazing season we've had. BATTLE BOYS. GOHABSGO!!!!!!!!! Koivu we need you!!!!!!!!!
  7. We were sitting on Price and our defensive performance. If we could move the puck like we did all season we'd be O.K, but we can't because of Boston's defense which is getting me worried, it makes Thomas look dangerous.
  8. Depends on what they do or don't do in the hotel room in the next few days. Shave heads or get their SHlT together. Bruins have been outplaying them for the last three games now. It's time to start thinking about the game and not the rituals. I hope they can pull it together because Boston means business.
  9. Well, maybe they'll stop giving each other haircuts and start thinking about what it's going to take to win.
  10. Man we are not looking good. Very panicked. We need the Vets. KOVY....KOVY....KOVY!!!!!
  11. Kozed.....change avatar we'll come back!!!!!!! NICE!!! GO HABS GO!!!!
  12. Kozed........we need some of your Boston Jinxing, change of avatar. None of this positive SHlT
  13. Gainey also mentioned in an interview about signing Brock Trotter, and that he hasn't had a chance to even meet him yet. That's why he's with the pack called up. I don't get why some are so freaked out about this. It's a great thing to involve everyone in the family to enjoy the experience. Especially getting to practice with the big squad since so many take the day off. All good from my chair.
  14. Latendresse was saying it's going to be hard to get the Russian Mafia to go so add BIG and LIL TlTS to the list. 4 guys I think.
  15. Anyone reading this? Harry Sinden However, Bruins' Harry Sinden is not impressed by Savard's play. "I'm not a fan of his," Sinden told the Boston Globe on Wednesday. "He's one of these guys who has batting average but no runs batted in. You know what I mean? He gets a lot of points. He's a good player, I'm just not a fan." Sinden also raised some eyebrows by mentioning that stalwart defenceman Zdeno Chara may be playing injured. "We've got a hell of a leader in Chara, but I think he's hurting right now," Sinden told the Globe. "This rib injury. He's playing OK, but he's not as aggressive." Sounds like he's taking a page from "The Motivation School of Guy Lafleur" For one Savard is the most dangerous player the B's have at the moment, and two ribs? I thought it was a shoulder if he is indeed injured at all. Doesn't Sinden still work for the Bruins?
