  1. Wow. How did we get Tatar as toss in for Pacioretty
  2. Nah, it's all good. I get where you guys are coming from.
  3. I'm guessing they're playing Price again... Maybe Weal for Pecca?

  5. Watch more hockey? Ok bud First of all, i said Petan and a pick for Lehkonen. That would not have been the end of the world, but I do agree, it's not the smartest trade proposal ever. My posts was more about Burakovsky. Which I dont think is a bad trade off at all.
  6. Petan's average ice time was 7min in Winnepeg this year. He had 52pts in 52 games in the AHL this season. He has 18 assists in his last 108 games. Lehkonen is averaging over 15min of ice time, has 26 assists in his last 129 games and 19 goals in his last 129. With 0 in his last 20+ Petan with a pick would not have been that bad of trade, from an offensive stand point. Burakovsky has basically the same numbers as Lehkonen the last two seasons, averaging less ice (11min), while also having 38pts and 35pts in his first two seasons. He's been a + player every year, except for this season too. I mean the trades aren't that hard to fathom.
  7. I just dont see it man. I dont want to argue, this is just my opinion. I don't know where this kid fell off from his rookie year. When he first came up, I couldn't believe how heavy his wrister was. I honestly thought Lehkonen was perfect candidate for player swap. a guy like Burakovsky or even Nic Petan and a pick would have looked alright.
  8. Weber is starting to scare me a bit. I hope it's a minor injury, but he has lost a step the past 5 games
  9. How about the other 60 games? Lehkonen finished the game on that line. They always seem to want to keep that finish line together. It doesn't work.
  10. Brassard is more of third liner, potentially second. I'm just saying he would have been an excellent depth move, at little cost.
  11. I didnt want to mortgage the future, but I really thought that Lehkonen or Hudon could have been moving parts in a trade. Hell, a third rounder for Brossard, was a really solid depth move. He would have been an excellent 4th liner for this team, who could play second PP.
  12. Pecca had a solid first period, then basically gets benched last night and Lekhonen gets moved back up with Arnia and Kotkaniemi. That line so clearly needs a shake up. Kotkaniemi needs some shifts away from those two. There's way too many puck battles along the boards with Armia. It's not Kotkaniemi's game. Pecca has looked hungry out there. He needs to get a few minutes up the line up.
  13. Armia's forecheck is solid, but he has low offensive instincts... I honestly think Pecca would be better suited in that 3 spot, atleast for the time being.
  14. That's exactly what this is all about.
  15. Columbus is not good enough to be making all these moves. Just threw a 4th rounder away
  16. You're right, but with two of your most important players above 30; this team needs to be proactive, sooner than later. Next year is going to be a lot of the same, standings wise....
  17. Well, the Habs need to add something to help the PP. Could easily be the difference between a win and a loss. They need a forward who thinks shot.
  18. I would not be against Kovalchuk, strictly for his shot on the power play.
  19. Lose in the first round or not, I'd much rather watch a bit more hockey, than finish 9th
  20. They need an upgrade at LD. I think Mete has played well, but hes not a #2. I can't take much more of Reilly.
  21. Lehkonen brings zero offense. That line just kills Kotkaniemi
