Yeah Begin will come out flying tonight even more than usual. Although he knows the hit was legal he feels that he hurt his team giving up a 5 min PP he will seek redemption tonight. I am never disapointed by his proformance.

Yes I agree 100% he lacks consistency. For some reason himself and Ryder both do. They need to play 60 min. If they did I am sure Ryder would have 10-15 goals by now and ribero at least 15-20 assists. When they are at their best and taking it to the opposition rather then getting pounded in their own end they show how amazing they truly are. It is tough for coaches to watch the too many games in a row and I do not put all the blame on just ribero and ryder they need a set LW on that line not 3 different player auditioning in each game.

I agree with you but even in the previous two meetings with the leafs this season we have not had great starts. I think Julien needs to find some consistent energy in the 1st period weather that means he has to line shuffle or spread out the 1st period ice time differently I don’t know but something needs to change. -
Ribero responded well last year after he was sat for a game. Why not try this again.??

Should they not make some call ups soon the game is in 7 hours and I have heard nothing. I am nervous tonight, I feel the boys will have little or no wind in their sails after a deflating shootout loss -
Beacuse they cant finish and they take bad penalty's. Not to mention they have lost their 6 games due to the fact that 4 of those games they only scored 2 times that wont work in the new NHL.

Will bonk play??? I feel he had a great game although he did not finish last night.

Souray missed some action last night after taking a clapper from the point off of his skate yesterday bu MRI came back negative. "Dr. David Mulder, team physician for the Montreal Canadiens, told TSN that the MRI results on Sheldon Souray are negative. Souray plans to try and skate on Saturday and if there is no pain, he will play against the Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday evening." http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?fid=10460&hubname=

I agree I hate the leafs more than anyone but they will be on a roll after that comeback against washington. If tha habs play like that they will eat us for breky lets not forget how pumped up Sundin and Belfor get to play the habs. Julien needs consistency on the 2nd line pick either Zhogin or Higgins but give them a 5-7 game trial dont swap them back and forth b/w periods. Not to mention theo needs to keep them in the game early. -

I just hope Markov will showcase himself tonight shutting down crosby and Magic mario. He must have his best game of the year not to mention we may need another stand out proformance from Jose. 1st line will combine for 12 points tonight. GO HABS GO -

Great game pleased to see Theo steal one for the boys. -
In 2003-2004 the last NHL season in which the Habs finished 7th in the east they had a record of 41-30-7-4 a decent record. During that season in their first 16 games they had 15 points this year we have 25. It took us until December the 2nd and our 25th game to amass that total last season so all I can say is wow what a start. The habs have also scored almost 20 more goals to this point and have allowed only 9 more. But they can’t get over confident some good tests the rest of this month. As of right now habs are on pace for a 128-point season, imagine if they could keep it up.

Haha i want to see millionaires fight as well. Here are some stats to ponder before the game Koivu 21 games vs TB 29 points Bonk should he play has 33 points in 36 games Kind of suprising considering those two dont aferage more than a moint a game against most teams. So lets hope the keep that trent going. -
Yeah I dont think many habs fans would have a problem clinching with a month left. Give us some time to rest our boys for hopefully our long playoff run

Will be a tough game we all remember the playoffs last season. Markov will have another tough job shutting down at least two of St. louis Richards Kubina and the always impressive in montreal LECAVALIER. One thing needs to change no offensive zone pim's tuesday night we had at least 2 or 3 against buffalo? Will bulis be playing????? if not do we call up Hainsey???? -
Anoyone pondering the possibility that we get Mikko Koivu either in a trade or free agency in 4 or 5 years????? Koivu will be about 37 or 38 but you never know.

Saku Koivu: The leagues most underrated player?
JMMR replied to Leafs Suck's topic in Habs & Hockey Talk
Yeah I remember that game against Chicago that Koivu injured his knee I was at that game and he not only led the league in points but power play points as well. It was a shitty thing that happened to him and no one remmebers how good he truly was except for a select few habs fans. -
