Perhaps we can complain about non-calls by the refs, but every penalty they called against montreal was obvious and real. Can't blame the refs for any of them.

You know, Ribs has been playing much better defensively lately. I have noticed he is always back checking and making defensive zone plays to clear the puck lately. Perhaps this is why his offense has tailed off a bit. Perhaps he is currently in the Carbo school of defensive hockey.

Zed just played a great shift behind their net, battling and generally being an ox, taking all kind of punishment but keeping the puck. Unfortunately no one helped him so only one point shot came out of it, but I certainly give him an A for effort on that shift.
