They should have plenty of energy in this game....lord knows they didn't use much last night.

They all sucked....from the top of the first line to the bottom of the fourth line...#1 d-man to #6 d-man, and everything in between.
Totally uninspired hockey all around.
I can't single anyone out, they sucked as a team tonight.

The leafs also scored 5 power play goals tonight, that is the definition of a joke.
They always, ALWAYS get help. Can you imagine if a good team got as much help from the officials as the Leafs? They'd pop 4 PPG damn near every night.

I think we can beat Ottawa with a good team effort and Huet between the pipes. Why concede the two points by putting Aebischer in there?

It feels good...because I like it when the team plays in a way that is predictable (and that prediction just happens to be a WIN)!

Since it's already been mentioned, I think Huet has a great chance for another shutout...at least a 50/50 shot, provided we don't take too many penalties.
I'm hoping to see Bulis centering Kovalev and Zednik, as Ribeiro has looked like he would rather be in the pressbox than on the ice lately.

I would be shocked if a team didn't offer Huet at least 3M for a 1-year if he hits the free agent market. And given that he is 30, and hasn't made much money in his career, I think he'd have to seriously consider the biggest money offer regardless of how much he might want to stay in Montreal. Bob may be forced to roll the dice and pay Huet big (not huge, but big) money to stay. It's not like we have much in the way of an alternative; Aebischer sucks, and Danis is certainly not ready to be a #1.

They did it the hard way tonight, but a win is a win. I'm thinking the PP struggles were an abberation...but...this game showed that the boys can win even when they aren't getting many bounces.

Another great performance by Huet on a night when the only way the Habs were going to win was with a shutout. This guy just keeps impressing me more and more. I don't know what it's going to cost to keep Huet, but I hope to God that Bob pays whatever it takes!
