They started the night; looking like they had way too much turkey dinner... but with some smart plays and scoring from unlikely sources. The habs came out of the first quite lucky. In the second they have woken up and things are looking better... Bonk, Johnny and Perez are playing at their best as usual! everyone else except for Lats and Downey our newest sniper out playing an inspired game.. Downey's line helped draw this last PP. GO Habs Go!

Hope Carbo gives Lats some PP chances.. he has been very smart with the puck tonight.

I just spent 20 mins reading this entire thread; Its impressive to see how Huet has evolved in our thoughts and comments over this short stint with the habs; Now that he has put up impressive numbers again in the first half of this season; The thought of his dominance in the next half certainly gives me comfort. I count myself in with those that weren't holding their breath; just in case the bubble burst and things went south in a hurry. I'm glad to say that huet has and continues to prove me wrong and this make me very happy to be a Huet Fan! Go HABS Go Go Huet Go! Go H Go!

Go HABS GO! The Caps like to skate and enjoy the speed game. This game could be filled with end to end action. 4-2 Habs is my prediction. Go Habs GO!

I'm a fan of Plex's; I do think he is young and needs sometime and would be better suited to playing with finishers, sammy and kovy are playmakers who work hard most of the time. Plex could use a scorer on his wing like higgins with a crasher banger like Lats as well; All I'm saying is he's young and has proven to me and to the coaching staff that he can play many different roles. If his faceoffs improve and the pucks go into the net on his shorthanded / breakaway chances that he seems to be in many times then this would be a different calibre player in our minds. Nevertheless. I've always considered him as being a possible trade bait type of player. He can offer many teams options. And could be part of a package deal; Needless to say as long as he plays for us he will be in my good books. And I'm happy with his contributions thus far. merry xmas all.

After reading all the posts and thoughts on this topic; I must say that I agree with many of the points expressed here. And I must admit that although I had very high hopes for our beloved Canadiens this season. Not in my wildest imaginations did I expect this group to pull together as a team so quickly; I'm impressed by the immense work ethic that the coaching staff has instilled. Lets pray that we come out of the gate after the christmas break and take over first spot in the league. Its been a long time coming but I for one am very thankful for this years edition of our Canadiens. I've always been proud to be a Canadiens Fan; this Christmas its specially true. Merry Christmas to all and only the best in the new Year! GHG!
