Damn. Not making it easy ...
-
Icing never sounded sweeter!
-
Briere? Briere? What about Briere? YES, BRIERE!!!!!!
(Yeah, the streaming is delayed. )
And off Chara's skate yet, serves the bugger right.
-
PP is sounding better ... at least one decent shot.
-
Even if they don't score on the PP, that will leave only 2:31 of even-strength hockey to get through.
-
Damn radio stream is a minute behind ... I have to stop looking at the box score on nhl.com.
-
10 more minutes, boys ... time to dig deep!
-
I wont even count the next as insurance if the Habs score it.
Late-night infomercial insurance, no physical required, everyone qualifies ...
-
I am freaking out. Please win. Please win. Please win.
I'm surprisingly calm (maybe because I only have radio?). As toronthab said, we're in a great position to start the third. A sweep in the first round, no collapse in the second. I'll be proud of this team no matter what happens.

Those dumb penalties seem to always be hard to kill.
Hopefully the same is true for the Bruins!
-
Beautiful! Not a single shot allowed on the PK.
-
Knew the Bruins PP's would come.
Plex this is where you earn your keep.
Plex is at over 12 minutes of ice time already ...
-
YEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Wow.
Getting more scary by the second.
Sounds a bit better now ... at least on radio. Or still as bad?
-
Shots 5-0 in the second ... 14-6 total.
-
I think NBCSN offers a stream of some of their live games on their site if you can't get CBC to work.
Unfortunately only for people with a qualifying cable provider account. It's all right, I'm reliving my youth with radio-only coverage.
-
How about CBC internet connnection.. not playing?
Not available in the US, it appears. Streaming on 690 radio, much better than nothing!
-
MIssed most of the first (...)
I'm in NJ, and of course the hotel doesn't have NBC Sports so no game at all for me ... :angry2:
Bergeron is killin DD again, as well as Plekanec on faceoffs. He is 11-12.
I recall we used to have some great faceoff guys, but that seems to be usually of little concern when player changes are being made.
-
Have we won a face off tonight?
DD is 13%, Eller 33%. Everyone else is 50% or better, but those two drag down the average.
-
Well all other series have the underdogs mounting comebacks, so why not the Habs!
Will see what character some players have in do or go golfing game.
Yeah, I was just looking at the Pens-Rangers series and thinking exactly the same thing. Last game was not good but I'm not abandoning hope yet!
-
We need a goal
You just needed to ask ...
-
What a garbage goal.
Maybe I should just stay away from the TV ...
-
Vanek
+1 on Vanek.
Finally made it to in front of the TV on a game night, first time this series.

Uh...you do know that he tried to play with one arm in a effort to help the team? You disliked Koivu? What is your problem? Both of these guys are heart and soul warriors which is what most teams want from their Captain. Who would you suggest take Gio's place?
Exactly. The captain doesn't need to be the best player on the team, but he needs to be a leader, on and off the ice. Both Koivu and Gionta fit this description. Gainey was a captain for eight years, and Carbo for five, and neither was ever in danger of leading the team in scoring. (Cournoyer was still captain when I started following the Habs ...)
