I am still ticked at Buffalo for not showing up.. we could have had Pitts or Lightning instead of a rested Caps.
I'll still be happy with Caps -- that means we made it past the Bruins.

The most ######ed shit I've ever seen in my life. I dunno how any of you can be happy. Sure the habs had no expectations, but to lose like this...I wish we never made the playoffs.
To lose like this? Sure, it was 4-1 for the series but I'm not unhappy with how they played tonight. If they had only played like this for three of the earlier games the golf season wouldn't be quite as close.
I've seen multiple cups raised by the Habs, but making it to the final four was still an achievement in my books. The team showed far greater spirit and determination than in recent years, and I have to respect them for that.

I have to agree. this team has been the talk of the NHL. I was not and am not expecting a win tonight. I think they're dog tired. And without Markov they just don't have it on the powerplay and much more.
Brave efforts and performance beyond expectations, though I thought we could play some good hockey going in , win or lose.
Cheers to the 2010 HABS whether we can make it through this game or not.

Halak's contract demands and pad the Molson's wallets. Halak's Conference Finals flameout will not affect his
contract demands.
And he's not worth it, is he, then? We would have done just as well or better with Price, who is after all the future of the franchise?

Gotta hope the late period surge carries over to the 3rd - if we can pot one within the first 5 minutes, it might not be over yet.
They may be going down, but I'm proud of the fact that at least they're going down fighting, taking the game to the Flyers.
Just a few bounces in the right direction on the crappy Philly ice surface and we could be back in the game.

That was great work on the PK (except for the turnover), the Flyers never had a chance to get their PP set up.
