  1. Out of all the leafs who we thought would get injured this year nobody would of ever guessed Sundin would be the first, and would suffer a serious injury. What a fluke play. Lucky for the leafs they have great centre depth. Still a big hit though to lose your captain a few minutes into the season.

    Zednik

Wow I'm surprised (but thrilled) that CJ is going with Zhog on the first line, I figured he'd play it safe like he usually does and go with a veteren from the bottom lines. I wonder what Dags status is for tonight, is he healthy? will he be scratched even if he is healthy?
  4. Wow great work on the thread guys, it destroyed the previous largest thread ever. Game Recap by Colin: http://habsworld.net/article.php?id=887
  5. what the! it was up earlier for some reason, now it's not there! That was a test... pretend you didnt see that.
  6. You mean the one at the bell centre, or any of the many Cage's in Montreal. All regular season games are on RDS, so its not like people "need" to goto La Cage, but yeah I'm sure it'll be packed. btw just to get it out of the way: Bruins suck, seriously. I see lots of experts placing them in the top-5 of the league, I see them as a 5-8th placed team in the East at best, just look at that D. They'll have to really play above their heads (like they did in 03-04) to be a top team. Any predictions for the game? [Edited on 2005-10-4 by puck7x]
  7. Wow... The season opener already. Its been awhile since we've played in a meaningful game. I can hardly wait. I predict great things for this game thread, new records for HW... Dont let me down guys. :ghg:
  8. LOL... Well, I wouldnt be so sure about that. Even if you catch up to my post total remember that I can alter post totals, so if I wanted, I could put you right back down to 1. hehehe
  9. Cutting Ivanans and Streit seems logical, but Julien could surprise us and cut Perezhogin, you never know.
  10. Havlat is last for the sens, has to score to keep the shootout going....
  11. Heatley shoots wide... 1-1 still... Ryder is up. Deke or shoot?
  12. Spezza, Heatley, Havlat for sens... Emery in nets For the habs... Kovalev, Ryder, Dagenais .... Theodore in nets
  13. Emery robs Streit with a highlight reel save. Streit is snakebit tonight, and throughout the preseason it seems. At least he's getting involved though
  14. Habs have had plenty of PP's tonight but have done nothing with any of them, disappointing since we had the NHL's best preseason PP coming into the game. Oh well. Guess we're missing Souray, luckily his injury is not serious (sore thumb)
  15. Lets go shootout! Habs have lots of talent playing tonight, lets see who we select to shoot. Kovalev? Ryder? Ribeiro? Dagenais? Koivu? Zednik? Perezhogin? Plekanec?
  16. Habs are just going through the motions, they seem to want the game to just end. I guess the team is sick of meaningless preseason games, I cant blame them. Bring on the real season.
  17. Habs go on the PP now... Lets make the score respectable at least.
  18. Heatley scores his second of the game, glove side on Theodore... 3-0 Sens Habs fans chanting GUY GUY GUY for Latendresse even though he's been sent down, lol
