Thats not to shabby at all.

I usually like Maurice(i would like him more if he did not coach for the Leas) but on this little rant about Kostitsyn he made himself look like an idiot. It was not a dirty hit whatsoever. McCabe just hit it the wrong way.
-
I find that to be highly unlikely because he never really did prove anything when he played for the Habs so why would they take the chance.
-
How much would he make for a brief stint with the Habs.
-
Yu just dont get as much attention.
-
Yes i did not see it happen but thats always good when its the lefs who are getting abused. I still dont know why the fans were ejected. I would have of given them a crown and some free tickets to the next home game so they could do it agian.
-
Ya chances are he is staying in Russia
-
Just take it as a win because in the last two games i feel those have been the best allround games we have played all season.
-
I dont want him and i'm sure he wont come back anyways. We couild try to trade him but i'm sure that knowbody will do that.
-
Ya i think that Huet is gone come deadline time. I'm still worried about relying on such a young tandem in Price and Halak though.
-
I think thats the first time in a while that the Habs have held Sundin off the scoresheet.
-
The Habs have sent Jaroslav Halak down to the AHL affiliate Hamilton Bulldogs to make room for the return of Cristobal Huet.
Halak who was sensational for the Habs late in the season last year played backup to Carey Price in this call up. The only action that he saw was in New Jersey when he got called in to relieve Carey Price at the start of the third period.
Cristobal Huet is back from his minor groin pull and played backup to Carey Price in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Big win for the Habs as they outplayed the Leafs. This is the firts time this year that a Habs and Leafs game was not decided by one goal.
It sure would have been nice to see Price get the shutout because he deserved it and he just cant seem to get it. He deserved one in Phillie as well. It would have been fitting that it be against the Leafs since he has been so good against them in his young career.
The Habs got two points and thats all that matters.

it was time to take this flag out again.

I wasnt to impressed with that call on O'Bryrne either.
I still cant believe that Streit missed that empty net. That would have of given him the natural Hatrick.
-
That was a BS call on Hamrlik.
-
Andrei Kostitsyn scores. 2-0 Habs. It was a beuty.
-
Thats a good period for the Habs. They need to keep the pressure coming though.
-
Go habs Go.
WE NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED this game very badly.
-
If it is a bad injury that will send the Canadiens even more down the standings.
-
All that I can say is Go Habs Go. You need this game badly.

I think the Habs will make the playoffs this year.
If we were to make a trade it would not be frome the Likes of, Boullion, Gorges, Smolinski or Ryder. None of them have any value to a team trying to win a cup. Ryder would be a huge value if only he was playing this year. The trade will include one of our stockpiled goalies. My prediction would be Huet going to a team like Tampa for Lecalvalier. Of course we would have ta dd something else in to get Vinny.

From what you have seen this year do you think that the Habs have a shot at the Playoffs this year? We are already a quater of the way through the season so you have seen how they've been able to play.
Currently they are going through a bad stretch where they are finding it hard to get any wins.
Do they have the players to do it. Maybe they need to make a trade. Give me you thoughts.
Will The Habs Make the Playoffs?

We may need to rely on Halak as a bacKup after we trade Huet away at the tarade deadline.
