Dont you think that he is deserving of it though.
-
Hes on waivers. Come on from the game I saw him play he looked good.
-
This time off may open Lats eyes
-
Those are good but i feel that Hamrlik deserves a spot.
-
Yes that is rather weird. It's good to see Montreal as one of the Shutouters.
-
I am very happy with Hamrlik's play. He is just so responsible with the puck and i must say that i am happy that they signed him instead of Souray.
Breezer has looked pretty good. He is making hardly anything so that was a good sign.
Kovalev is playing the best hockey of his Habs career.
Koivu and Plekanecs have looked good so far as well.
-
Ya i dont think he was deserving of it but it is still exeptional that he won it.
-
That was a brutal give away but every player gets one of those.
-
He wins the Molson Cup. That is huge considering that he didnt play that many games.

Huet looked Ok but i would have rather of given the Start to the Kid. lets hope that Gorges does a good job.
-
The Habs basically got burned of Two points. Dont worry we will get them back next time.
-
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm They have to give AK46 a shot.
Lets hope for a good game from Hip Hip Huet.
Go Habs Go.
-
That surprises me that they would keep up Grabs instead of AK46. I know AK46 still has a shot of staying up but i do think AK is a better player then Grabs. Ak46 just had a bad start.
-
Yup i would agree that those penalty are staged.
-
he's making about as much money as Theodore. Sounds fair to me
Now that you compare it to theodore it looks alot better.

The Calgary Flames have locked up Miika Kiprusoff for the next six years. The Vezina Trophy winning netminder has agreed to a long-term deal which will pay him $35-million US. The Finn's average salary will jump to $5.8-million but the deal is believed to be weighted to pay him more in the early years.
Kiprusoff was in the final year of his deal which was scheduled to pay him $3.6-million. His new deal puts him the same league as Vancouver's Roberto Luongo and New Jersey's Martin Brodeur.
"Bottom line is he's one of the best three goaltenders in the NHL," said general manager Darryl Sutter. "You want to make sure you're able to show your fans and your players that you tend to have those top players on your teams for a long time."
Over the course of the last few months, the Flames have also signed leading scorer Jarome Iginla and defenceman Robyn Regehr to five-year extensions worth $35 million and $20 million, respectively.
"We have a mission here and it's a pretty straight forward mission," said Flames president and CEO Ken King. "We want to win the Stanley Cup and we want to take an organized and thoughtful approach to that. Our objectives are very, very clear"
Kiprusoff is in his fourth season with Calgary and is the franchise leader in shutouts (21) and is approaching his 200th regular season game, which will rank him 5th highest in franchise history. He has a 5-3 record, a goals-against average of 3.13 and a save percentage of .879 this season.
"I would like to thank the Calgary Flames owners for making this long term commitment to me and my family so we can remain in this city and be part of this organization," Kiprusoff said in a statement.
"I look forward to the responsibility and challenge that comes with this contract. Calgary is a loyal hockey community that expects and deserves the very best from its home team."
Next up for Sutte is centre Daymond Langkow, currently second in Flames scoring, who is scheduled to become a free agent next summer as will winger Kristian Huselius. Star defencemen Dion Phaneuf is also scheduled to become a restricted free agent next year.
Calgary got a good sign there. That is alot of money though.

To me he never looked fat.
-
that sucks. Ithoght that he looked good as of late
-
I think that i will always have a problem with the Refs. What i espaecially hate is when the Leafs fans complain about the Refs.
Anyways have you noticed that Kovalev is playing the best hockey of his Montreal career. He is hitting ou there and has come to play on most nights.
-
Why is bouliion out. I guess the Kid Gorges gets another shot.
Go Habs
-
Ya that halak trade will not happen. Not good enough return
-
I'm very happy that that SOB is playing like crap.
-
That surprises me that Price gats the Start. To me he did not look to great in Pittsburg. The only place that he looked good was in the shootout.
Go Habs
-
I agree, the game can be determined by how the refs call it, but I'm not saying it's fixed or anything. I'm going to keep my eye out for that, just to see for myself if what you're saying happens a lot when I'm paying attention to it.
That call on Begin last night was absolutely brutal in my opinion.
The call was brutal on Begin. Last night when Kovalev pushed Malkin into the boards should of been two minutes and then crosby should of evened it up with trying to fight kovalev. insted Crosby got a penalty and Kovalev got the extra two. That was a huge game changing moment. Pittsburg came back after that.

He is a better player for the Montreal organization than Souray ever would be. He is so responsible with the puck and i trust him entirely.
He is such a smart player.
