  1. don't you guys listen to barry melrose? We only have one line that can score. 9-1 Habs Hattricks from Kovalev,Ryder, and Perreault We empty the net at the end to let st.louis get a goal... assisted by lecavalier and roy. j/k 3-2 or 4-2... [Edited on 4/23/2004 by simonus]
  2. how about this: why are you unable to learn the pronounciation of names that you have to say every week?
  3. he's from toronto he's racist he coached the bruins and basically got fired for being made a fool of by the habs he prizes toughness over all else and thinks that skill players are incapable of perserverence oh - he's also stupid
  4. robinson needs to be head coach somewhere... except for ny
  5. where do y'all think the man is headed to next? STL? NYR? Petersborough Petes? (I think Marty McSorley needs to be replaced in springfield!)
  6. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/playoffs/news_Story.asp?ID=81043 you gotta love this shit! They say they use a formula including player performance - Kovalev and Koivu are goal and point leaders! Theo had a .970 sv the last three games of the series. Screw them!
  7. my dad had a theory that in the old days before easy cross-continental travel when gander was a bigger airport it was easier to get a new england flight than the a montreal flight.... I have no idea about that however....
  8. ESPN Hockey ESPN is doing a poll for best blueliner in the eastern game 7's - mccabe, leetch, rivet,or souray. leaf fans always flood the espn polls and the results are often published on espn tv. I know it doesnt matter so much, but I would like to see rivet get more than 5% and souray more than 15%. McCabe is getting like 51% as of the time of this writing. Maybe people can go on and help push the poll in the right direction?
  9. i think ribeiro gave him some shit from across the benches when the second goal was scored...
  10. i think we have a decent chance against either team. Leafs and flyers are similar teams in many ways. Both are not the best on pure D, but Belfour is standing pretty tall ... of course that tends to have a straining effect on the old back... if sundin get banged up more (not an unlikely scenario) we definitely look good matched up against them. Positive note - both of those teams are dissallowed by the laws of nature from winning cups.
  11. it's the itsy-bitsy spider theory of covert intelligence.
  12. umm... balej hasn't been traded in a few days... maybe lindros - he has shown that he can kick thornton's ass. [Edited on 4/21/2004 by simonus]
  13. i hear that there are quite a lot of bruins fans on the rock... any idea why? Part of my family is newf, but they are all split along mtl/TO...
  14. stillman is day to day... i think he is supposed to be available on friday. Of course, so was "big" joe....
  15. don't forget - cullimore is out with a screwed up wrist. Anybody know about the bolts' depth at d?
  16. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature.asp?fid=9179 i guess this would mean more if they hadn't taken the canucks over the flames and dallas over colorado. Eat your words TSN!
  17. wow... I knew the CBC could be a bit anti-hab, but I guess I'm not so sad that I had to watch the boston announcers. Watching the game from the boston perspective was actually pretty cool - if you freeze frame you can actually see exactly were commentator Tom Caron's heart breaks.
  18. all is forgiven in the wake of the great hab comeback of 2004! ps - 4 goal songs and 3 hail mary's
  19. getting drunk on canadian beer and calling all my boston fans (although i dont think they get "car ton bras sait porter un epee/il sait porter la croix") IT'S A CELEBRATION BITCHES! I'M RICK JAMES, BITCH! [Edited on 4/20/2004 by simonus]
  20. obviously, I think you are hearby drafted as the official game thread poster for the remainder of the playoffs.
  21. the bolts are as heavy hitting as the b's, but I think that could actually be in montreal's favour seeing as this wil leave more standing bodies able to exploit errors. Anybody know what the season series stats are?
  22. i hope this finally proves to everybody who is a fan of one of their second-tier teams that the habs are the greatest gift god has given to the universe. :ghg::ghg::que::que::hlogo::ghg:
  23. is it just me or are the b's paying a little more attention to langdon tonight?
  24. my experience is that the girth of a jersey is larger than that of a regular shirt but that sleeve length is about the same.
