  1. No big deal he's a fringe NHL D-man... and those are a Dime a Dozen... Traverse, Dykhuis, Boullion and so on.
  2. Those D Pairings weren't in order... they were just posted as they came into my head... you didn't really think I thought Markov was our 5th or 6th Dman did you?
  3. Hockey time is growing closer and closer. Habs don't have much else to do besides sign Saku and Markov, I'm sure both will be done in the next few weeks. I'm looking for a new attitude this year, of team unity and not giving up. As for how well we do... I honestly don't care, I believe the effort will bring results.
  4. Good... We don't need Chow and McKay part 2.
  5. I'm looking for Perezhogin, Higgins and the big second line centre to replace Perreault, Ribs, and Juneau. Dackell and some other junk, well.... who cares.
  6. The Following lines... Zednik-Koivu-Perezhogin Bulis-(Big Centre)-Audette Hossa-Higgins-Ward Ryder-Kilger-Sundstrom Hainsey-Quintal Souray-Komi Markov-Rivet THEODORE Garon Looks better already...:hlogo: [Edited on 2003/8/9 by Habby1197]
  7. Theodore trained with the Habs rookie camp 3 weeks ago just to get in shape... do you think Gainey or AS would give a shit in the world about Theo putting extra work in if he wasn't going to stay in Montreal? Working with goalie coaches for a week along with 3 other prospect goalies show the habs have no intentions of trading him. It wasn't like it was a high profile training session to show him off... it was in Ville-St-Pierre. Another point... Starting Goalies Potvin, Joesph, Ritcher (if he comes back) Do not have teams to play for next year. Now, the only teams without real #1 goalies are The Avs and Bruins. While the Sabers look like they will either Trade Biron or Noronen, probably Biron making 4 starting NHL goalies available... Theo going to the Avs? It just doesn't add up.
  8. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=48906 Gained: Whitney, Hatcher, Hasek + whatever they get for Cujo. Lost: Cujo, Fedorov. I say the Wings got a lot better.
  9. Hey I got Kariya right on with the Avs... Go Habby Go... lol
  10. www.tsn.ca Breaking news! 5 year deal worth over 40 million! [Edited on 2003/7/19 by Habby1197]

  12. I work at day camp at Martin Lapointe arena in VSL... The Habs rookies have been there the past few days along with Theodore. But Today I actually had a 15-20 mins Convo with Jose and get this... I took about 20 breakaways on M-A Fluery! I scored once... and I'm actually a pretty good player... he's a sick, just a sick goalie and a super nice guy. He has no hole whatso-ever... there was just no where to shoot... it was almost actually funny. Theodore was super cool too... said he was happy to be at the arena to work out and make sure he was in t he best shape possible for the upcoming year and he said he was sure I heard about the stuff with his family and he said the best way to get away from that was on the ice. He joked about the kids at my camp all being a bunch of little whacko's... but he said he was the same at that age. Theo's a great guy... no ego... forsure doesn't have his head in the clouds. But MA Fleury is absolutly a great guy... he stayed on the ice for an hour extra after his goalie camp just to play with the kids... I spoke to him too for a few mins off the ice... and he's a super cool guy with a really hot sister, lol... Any golddigger guys out there? Hit Martin Lapointe arena this week and look for the 17 year old girl with dark skin and tall.... very hot Anyways, if anything else happens like this in the next week i'll let you know [Edited on 2003/7/10 by Habby1197]
  13. Got to see some of that today... Locke and Higgins look unreal.
  14. The more I think about it... the more I want Fedorov on the Habs... Maybe a 3 year 24 million dollar deal I'm drooling over possible lines...
  15. Because no one else will... BREAKING NEWS Glen Sather will announce Tuesday he will return to coach the New York Rangers in 2003-04. Details to come... www.sportsnet.ca

  17. I don't think they are. I was thinking... All of our dead weight might be impossible to get rid of. I wouldn't be surprised to see Komi, Hainsey and Hossa all spend time with the Dogs next year. Juneau Dackell Perreault Sundstrom Kiger McKay Chow Not all of them will be gone next year, as much as we hate to hear it, it's the truth.
  18. Yup I did... http://hw.apinc.org/forum/viewthread.php?tid=223 Just put it in the off topic section because it's not really hockey related. Shouldn't effect Theo, so who cares...
  19. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=44750 Seems like it... a bunch of goalies need to be sorted out.
  20. Don't think thats a good thing... http://www.rds.ca/cgi-bin/nouvelles?site=r...on&sport=#82426
  21. Gotta love the edit feature...
  22. Oh well , I'm sure he'll blossom .... probably on another team. How about for Philly's first rounder? They can make a Gange-Chouinard-Ribs line... lol
  23. Are you talking about Milroy or Ribeiro? Cause Ribeiro isnt like Luc at all . Mike has a weak shot (although it is accurate) ... Plus Ribeiro is a natural playmaker ... odd comparison. Yeah I was talking about Ribs... He's got the exact same skating style as Robitallie and he was always able to put up lots of goals in junior. He just looks to pass too much. Also his shot isn't that weak... don't you remember him playing the point at the start of the 2001-2002 season and ripping a shot from the point top corner on Cujo?
  24. Why acquire the #1 in a draft that doesnt have any rare-superstar talent at the top end? Why not instead acquire a 2nd first rounder so you can draft 2 solid star-potential players I totally agree with you. I rather trade Ribs and our 2nd rounder from Philly for pick #20. That way we keep Hossa, Draft a Solid player at #10, probably a Dman, and then have a shot at Bernier at #20.
