If we win both games against the sabres and the jackets and/or detroit lose abit I think its better for team morale and development to stay very calm at deadline. Maybe even see if there is any trade there to improve our team.
Mostly prefered for now AND next couple of years.
No rentals except the ones we keep instead of trading away.

I hope Andersons injury isnt serious. This year could be our only chance to actually trade his contract. Or he could be useful if we somehow get back in the mix for wildcard battling.

He say to news he feels ok. He left game just to be sure and might stay out for a week to make sure no symptoms of concussion shows.

The team has won 9 of their last 11 games, beating loads of top teams. Fighting for a wildcard spot, maybe even a top 3 in atlantic can ba possible and butterface wants to sell/tank?
It would be career suicide in habland by the gm to do that. What if we trade the ufas and start playing really bad with a bunch of 20-yearolds being booed of the ice?

About giving the younger players icetime? Dump Pezetta and wait for the inevitable injuries to free up spots.

If we are fighting for a playoff spot close to the deadline it would be idiotic to go into sell mode. Keep them and enjoy the ride.
We can survive without those few draftpicks.

Happy that we got the best player in the 2022 draft considering we drafted 1st overall. Didnt expect him to be picked in the 2nd round though.

Even if the sabres and wings really stink we just won 3 games in a row. Wins gives the guys confidence which can help them win against better teams. Lets hope for no more 9-2 stinkers.
