  1. The only lines that have been dangerous are the Pleks and Gionta lines and the Gionta line is handcuffed with Gomez and Eller.

YES - Eller's line comes though!!!!!! I had pretty much given up on Halpern!

So there you go. The tying goal can come from anywhere.

  2. Good for you, hope you're happy with that good start. Surely you get the point I'm trying to make though.

I fully understand your point about Gomez. He's over paid and under producing. His contract was a mistake...we all get it.

The fact remains that we're in the playoffs now, the money has been spent and I'd rather see that investment on the ice TRYING to setup goals or score than rotting away on the bench.

I'm not happy with him either, but for now I appreciate his two assists that lead us to victories in Boston.

  3. I hope to see the Habs come out guns blazing and keep it up for the full 60 mins. They really need to shutdown the momentum they gave BOS by losing the last 2.

Would love to see them pull off a win tomorrow night and seal the deal back in Montreal.

With that I'll give the Habs a 4-2 win over Boston without getting the first goal.

For the love of god fellas, please get it together Saturday night - Go Habs Go

  4. hab29, I couldn't agree more with you on Gomez. It's over for me. He's the most deserving, in the entire league, to have his ridiculous contract buried in the minors starting next season. Yes, I'm aware that we won't do it. Think back to last year, when we traded for Dominic Moore. At the time, the draft pick we gave up was said to be too much. Then he scores a key goal, ONE goal, and that draft pick is all but forgotten. It's time for Mr. Gomez to score ONE goal. He basically wins the lottery every winter, he's gotta do something big. It's become sickening. I liked the trade, and think he's a good hockey player. He's great in interviews, I don't care anymore. Do something, anything, to make us for one evening forget the money he's making.

I thought the 2 goals he set up in game one was a good start.
