    Its a trade. They didnt give away Sergachev. And if Chucky has to go. It best not be for Brodin etc. Better be for a legit top pairing dman off the radar. Considering the amount of teams that are apparently interested. The options have to be broader than Brodin & Fowler.

    Eller Subban Beaulieu Galchenyuk and Smith-Pelly. One of these things is not like the other..

     

    Better return than I was expecting.

     

    He won't be missed. I think its time to start drafting the best player available and not via org needs.

     

    Tinordi, Beaulieu & Fischer. Maybe its time to draft skill in the early rounds and roll the dice on D in the later rounds.

     

    Regardless. The future is now.

    Look at it this way.... if we offered pick 25 and pick 56 to detroit for pick 9, they would say no way. 

     

    Juulsen is a prospect who was pick 25, sergachev was pick 9.. 56 is our second rounder this year.

    Pacioretty's value with 2 years left on that contract is huge. His next contract will be to hefty to carry at wing with Price's cap hit. Max's salary has to be shifted to center.

     

    Max is the organization's best chance at trading for a bonafied #1 center. Balance the roster. Wing depth would be sufficient/adequate.

     

    He has been a prolific goal scorer. But it's my opinion that he is simply a finisher in a system. And, others will be able to finish. I think if the system gets balanced, more scoring chances will arise throughout and better depth and chemistry will prevail.
