  1. Ooh I need to know this. I watched the replay of the last game at the forum on nhl network just a month ago.... Was it kurk muller?
  2. Was it gretzky? Or maybe Mike Bossy? Or Lemieux?
  3. I started to hate the canucks after the bertuzzi incident and their fans not only supporting Todd but even saying that what he did wasnt that big of a deal. Just plain sick. I hate the leafs because they always get very lucky when they play us. It just seems that whenever they play us, the momentum and luck is always on their side. I know they're a very good team but so are the habs and many times they score goals by either intentionally shooting at a defenders skate to deflect it in or sometimes doing it with luck. Also I hate their attitude and their fans who think they're the best team in the world when they havent won a cup since 1967. LMAO! I like and dislike the Bruins at the same time. I hate them cuz they have an attitude that they think they can beat us anyday but come playoff time we also give them a beating and eliminate them most of the time which is why I like them. I also hate the tampa bay lightning. Even tho I like everybody else think they are a very good team, unlike many other people, I think they beat us with luck. Everything they shot seemed to go in and then on the other corner the freakin Khavibulin which no doubtis a good goalie, but he didn't even see where the shots from Kovy, Ryder or Souray or some of our other player's went, still didnt go in and instead kept hitting his pads. And I hate Lecavalier cuz I dont like people who dont help their team while they are shorthanded and freakin cheat and wait at center ice for a pass and then goes for a breakaway. Also had we not made that many turnovers I believe this series would've lasted much more then it did. [Edited on 2004/7/24 by Guy_Guy_Guy]
  4. Hey guys I dont know if you share or have shared the same feeling with your favorite habs like me. Mine is Michael Ryder, I just love everything about him from his look to his style of play to his wicked shot. He wasnt the second leading scorer in the habs this year for nothing. So everytime I watch a game in which the game is very close like the ones with the bruins or the leafs or the sens, I just pull for Ryder and I dont know if this feeling is weird but I sorta depend on him and expect him to score. He did so many times which made me very happy and made a fan out of me in the first place. But whenever like he doesnt score and the habs lose I just get really mad that we lost and many times express my anger to my friends who are watching with me saying that he is supposed to score and he didnt, he isnt as good as he is, etc, etc, but then when the game is over, I realise that nobody's perfect and that this is a game and just because your fav player didnt score to win you the game doesnt mean he sucks and I always calm down and wait for the next game to begin and root for him again. So, I dont know about you but do you people share the same feeling I do about your favorite player? Also talk about anything you feel like about your favorite player and what you like about him that makes him your favorite. :hlogo: RULE!!
  5. 8/10 Jason is a guy who is very solid on the forcheck, scores from time to time and has some great speed, much like Begin. What about Komi?
  6. Jean-Francois Damphousse Jim Dowd Gordie Dwyer Eric Fichaud Benoit Gratton Ron Hainsey Alex Kovalev Jerome Marois Yanic Perreault Michael Ryder Sheldon Souray Marc-Andre Thinel Patrick Traverse Rene Vydareny Richard Zednik So these are the players we havent signed yet or will not sign. Who do you think deserves or has to be signed and who deserves not to? I think we should sign Sheldon Souray, Michael Ryder, Richard Zednik, Alex Kovalev and Ron Hainsey. Do you agree? Feel free to post your list of players who we should sign and if I have forgotten to list someone or if I have listed someone who is already gone, please inform me. Go :hlogo: Go!! 7. 2/10 Koivu sucks cuz his name is Saku...... J/K 8/10 Even tho he aint the biggest point man of the habs we saw what he could do with great players playing on his wing like Kovy. What about Theo?
  8. Ya man me too I hope Garon gets the nod as starting goalie in LA and plays very well except of course against the habs....
  9. 7/10 He's a hard checking forward, likes to play rough and has the ability to score as well. Sheldon Souray?
  10. Begin: 8/10 Not because of his offensive skill but he's just perfect for a 4th liner. He could really check people and the one thing thats stands out is that he plays with his whole heart. Mike Ryder?
  11. Marc Denis:6.5/10 IMO he has really improved since last year but he's just unlucky that he's playing in a ######ed up team like Columbus. This is a good one..... our beloved Alex Kovalev?
  12. Ya I have NHL network. I missed it tho so I'm gonna watch the replay tommorow morning. Its amasing how I've already recorded it in french and watched it about 3 times already and still am excited to watch, this time in english.
  13. I dont know what you all think but if Kovalev decides to play the way in the regular season the way he did in the playoffs he could be in the top 5 scoring leaders of the league. He's fast, he has unbelivable talent, could score huge goals, and is a fairly good passer and is able to handle all the beatings on the boards which means that he's also a strong figure. Now if Gainey could offer Kovalev 4.4 million then why not offer him a little more in order to sign him? And why did he trade Balej who was a great prospect for him afterall if he was not evengonna sign him next year and on top of that he already knew that Kovalev was worth 6.6 million. So if he doesnt sign him it means that first, we lost our top prospect in Balej for nothing, second we didnt go nowhere in the playoffs and were swept in the 2nd round, and last but not least we're gonna have to deal with losing our most talented player. (Kovalev)
  14. Guys Guys Kovalev will be back in Montreal. Dont worry, Gainey will offer him a very good amount of money that even he cant refuse. Cuz why do you think Bob got ride of 8 of our players? First, to save a lot of money for the sake of the team, its profit and of course to sign Kovalev!
  15. 8/10 A great hockey player... used to be one of the best Jaromir Jagr? [Edited on 2004/7/6 by Guy_Guy_Guy]
  16. Rick Nash:8/10 had a great season this year and he'll keep getting better. Jaromir Jagr [Edited on 2004/7/6 by Guy_Guy_Guy]
  17. Hey I got this idea from another forum. I'm not sure if everybody knows how it works but I'm gonna start by posting a hockey player's name and the next person to post will have to rate him on a scale of 10 and please leave out a few words of explanation and then you post a name and so on and so fourth. Joe Sakic?
  18. So can anybody please tell me every one who's gone or trated and wont play for the habs next year, who did we sign, who has not been signed yet, etc. I would really appreciate it. P.S, I know I posted this in the other topic but I dont know if anyone read it and just to make sure everyone else whos like me will get a chance to be informed.
  19. This is an excellent move IMO. Dagenais doesnt pass very often but he has the ability that not many people have... that's to score goals. He scores 17 goals in just 50 games which is the highest in the team if you look at the percentage of goals scored compared to the games played. So if you have a 2nd line in which one could score 20 goals, then the other 25 then another person about 26-27(which we couldve scored if he played all the games) then I think that's a pretty damn good line IMO.
  20. Man Bob Gainey is on a roll of trading people or not signing them. Can anyone please list all the players who have left the habs these past few weeks either by a trade, retirement, free agency ect.. [Edited on 2004/7/4 by Guy_Guy_Guy]
  21. Gille Villeneuve could outrace Shumacker any day. I wished Gilles woulda played the same time as Shumacker.
  22. Can you please give us the answer sakiqc cuz noone seems to know.
  23. I think it was Marcel Dionne from the La Kings back in the 70-s I dont exactly know which year who scord 100 + points. The 1976-1977 Montreal Canadiens with 60-8-12-0 387 goals scored and 171 allowed. That's +216 I suppose. My Question, who scored 1000 points the fastest before Wayne Gretzky arrived and in how many games did he do it? [Edited on 2004/6/12 by Guy_Guy_Guy]
