  1. I had fun with that one. I'm still trying to get some of the few achievements I'm missing. The hardest ones will be the 100,000 kills and rank 100 in multiplayer (I'm only 38 right now). I'll be able to get the rest easy enough though.
  2. Thanks, didn't even notice!
  3. Been listening to No Quarter by Led Zeppelin - definitely one of my fav songs right now.
  4. Sounds like I gotta invest in one of those!
  5. When I was younger - that is, a child of 10 years of age or less - I would wake up thirsty and think about going to get a drink of juice. Then I'd go get it and be happy... but then I'd wake up and realize I didn't actually go and I'm still thirsty. Still, it felt as if getting that drink really happened, so I'd get up and do it again only for the same cycle to occur. I wasn't actually able to get out of bed because of the whole paralysis - but I was too young to really fathom what was going on. I wouldn't say this would happen 20 to 40 times, but around 5 times consecutive sounds about right. Anyway, that's when I remember my sleep problems starting, lol. Speaking of which, it's 2:45 and I can't sleep. Probably be up until 4am or so - gotta stop napping in the middle of the day.
  6. Yeah I experienced the really phucked up one with the old-hag syndrome or wtv where it feels like this evil thing/force is coming in on you. Well, that's what it was for me, I actually recall a very demonic face coming in through the window and I couldn't move or anything but I was *awake*. This same experience is shared but a ton of people who have had this - and they all report similar occurances, mostly it's an 'old hag' who comes and sits on your chest basically suffocating you. The trick is to concentrate on wiggling a finger and make your way from there. The worst part is trying to open your mouth to scream or something but you can't.
  7. Yeah I definitely have a book in just about every drawer in my room - pens plentiful. However, I'm usualy very much half-asleep when it happens and getting out of bed just isn't an option because it's as if my body is still paralyzed, lol. Did I ever mention I sometimes suffer from sleep paralysis? Not as fun as it sounds lol.
  8. I'm typically not into any book with the word Pray in the title This 20 minute video totally changes the way I will approach writing from now on though. I can also relate to the whole concept of an idea or creative flow coming through in one shape or form - it typically happens to me as I'm about to fall asleep, and I promise myself I'll remember what it was when I wake up but never do... so since that has been happening if I ever come across a thought I consider noteworthy while about to fall asleep I get nervous/anxious that I'm going to forget it. Thing is, these things always happen so if I'm too tired/etc I'll just let it pass and go to bed and allow it to either return or move on, knowing that when appropriate, I will have that flow returned with another idea/thought anyhow.
  9. http://www.ted.com/talks/view/id/453 Something to chew on.
  10. There's a difference though - LOST is a television show in which a single episode rarely answers any of the big questions but rather adds new ones - so yeah you have to go talk about it after that. Movies on the other hand are typically a complete story, beginning - middle - end, and when it's over you (I) sit back and think it all over on my ride home and draw my own conclusions and personal views of the movie before talking about it with someone else. That way, my interpretation of the flick won't be twisted with that of another person's view. That's just how I like to roll when it comes to movies. Maybe it's the screenwriter in me, maybe it's just me, I unno, lol. I also just hate having to explain parts of the movie to people while it's playing and potentially miss an important line of dialogue or some specific imagery. I consider myself pretty adept at staying with the flow of any movie without getting lost, but someone who can't manage that throws me off Haha, I think this is the first coherent post I've made using my notebook PC. I must finally be used to the tiny keyboard
  11. I go to the movies alone quite often since I became single again. I actually enjoy it a lot more because I can analyse the movie and/or just straight up enjoy it. Gives me more time to think about the flick once it's over without discussing it with someone else and potentially ruining my personal impression of it. I also haven't had this problem since the forementioned change.
  12. Hahahaha I remember the first couple times I had to don a tie, did the same thing. Actually, I just googled it, didn't use video - found some good sites w/ pictures on how to do it.
  13. I haven't played Gears in months, so it's all new to me, lol. Still not a ton of EXP for horde tho but it makes it that much better
  14. Picked up the new Gears of War update. The single player sucks, but I'm glad that they finally added EXP to Horde (albeit only a little) and the new maps aren't too shabby.
  15. Haven't delved into the FEAR series yet... but I've heard a lot of good things about it. Got Prey in the mail today... likely won't get much action until I'm finished with [Prototype]™ and the new Gears 2 Map pack.
  16. Never cared for fantasy draft. Everything else looks great tho.
  17. I wasn't a fan of the gameplay feel, so I had no desire to go back to it and eventually traded it off again lol.
  18. I'm playing Dark Sector right now - Surprisingly good. I mean, it's not great, but I like it enough that I'll probably finish out the story - unlike Assasins Creed and Lost Planet. lol
  19. Duuuude, totally feel you on this one! Mine was almost 4 years when it happened. Hopefully for the best! Sorry to hear, just the same tho
  20. Aight, lets organize a demonstration outside the Bell Centre at 12pm Sunday. Everything bring wear their Brisebois jerseys and bring signs begging Bob to bring him back! BreeZER! BreeeeeZER! BreeeeeZERRRRRRRR!
  21. Yeah, I'm right handed but I shoot left. I dunno why it works like that... it feels weird as hell when I try to shoot right. Thing is, if ever you're holding the stick with just one hand, it makes sense to have it with your stronger hand - for deflecting shots, intercepting passes, etc. On the flip side, you want your strong hand lower down the shaft for shooting. I suppose that the one hand on the stick situation is what wins out. It also works to guide the entire stick movement, so that might be why this is the typical situation.
  22. Yeah, I'm watching, but haven't decided if I care yet
