Ajax won the championsleague in 95, and the world cup. And 2 seasons back they made it again far in the league! Once in a while a team goes far, just like last year Porto did.

We only have 16 mln people. Yes it's the number one sport, but our marker is far behind countries as Italy/Spain/Germany and England.

Our market isn't that big. We have some big sponsors, not as much as in other countries. And as we say, we are a small country, so our Tv sponsorships aren't that big. In England that's huge. In England you always see teams that are out of the premiership fall back because the difference in tv incomes is that big. (especially when they don't return within a year) And in other countries you see clubs with major debts, in holland that's not possible.

The situation Ajax is in is the same my club is in. Every talent and great player moves from our clubs 2 the big 3 in Holland, or 2 a foreign club. Just because they can pay the players more money. Thats the true story about the dutch competition. We get big talents, and when they are good enough, they move elsewhere. All about the money. Unfortunate, but thats it is. Ruud and Rooney, what a combination that will be *drool*

Hmm holland lost 2 hockey finals (men and women), so 2 zilver medals. I watched both games, and for me it's so hard 2 watch. In Icehockey, so much is allowed, here you can't do shit! Makes it kinda boring. Only one site of the stick is allowed, can't touch the ball with the foot, and all contact is forbidden. Me 2, i like the guy, and found it hard 2 believe he did such a thing. But in the heat of the game, all the adrenaline, everything is possible. The other guy started it and should be punished harder than Perezhogin. Maybe i'm not honest cuz i'm a habs Fan, but i found i hard to believe the guy only gets 6 games. I Watched the soccerGame Sweden - Germany (women) yesterday. I realy hoped sweden would win. They played better and the girls were better goodlooking. Those Germans are ugly Unfortunately they didn't made!

Hard group for the dutch clubs. Ajax has the worst poule. Psv is easier, but they always suck in the CH. League. my Favourite teams are: Manchester United and Deportivo La Coruna!
