  7. May not be safe for work. Movie #1 Movie #2 Movie #3 Movie #4 Movie #5 Movie #6 Movie #7 Movie #8 Movie #9 Movie #10
  8. Almost done now, only one more movie to go.
  9. The Maltese Falcon was outstanding!
  10. I once started on The Brothers Karamazov but my heart wasn't in it so I never got very far. Dostojevskij isn't an easy read.
  11. I just finished watching I am Legend. I liked it. I liked how there was very little music in the movie, I think that touch added to the thrill. There were no musical hints as to what was going to happen next.
  12. I really loved The Old Man and the Sea. But perhaps I was in a different stage in life when I read it. Crime and Punishment is probably one of my top-three favorites of all time.
  13. I almost fell out of my seat when I saw it on tv the other night.
  14. It's Monty Python, I'm sure of that. "MP & The Holy Grail" would be my guess too, but I'm not a hundred percent sure. #6 might be "Strangers on a train". #9 is Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf.
  15. Next week is a schoolbreak in Sweden, so I won't be working. No classes, no papers to grade, no nothing. In other words, there's a decent chance there will be another movie scene trivia some time next week. You have been warned.
  16. Is that Dashiell Hammett or Raymond Chandler? ADD: Oh wait, it's on the back cover of the DVD. Hammett.
  17. I bought The Maltese Falcon on DVD today. Looking forward to watching it.
  18. Peanut butter? Gross! If you end up in Västerås, Sweden, just holler.
  19. Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf? I saw the play at the local theatre on Tuesday this week and ever since the final curtain dropped I almost haven't been able to control myself, I have died to see the movie adaptation. I recorded it on my DVR in October but I haven't been in the right mood to see it, until now that is. I think the less you know about the plot, the better, so I won't go into any details, but I will say that Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor did a spectacular job with their parts. Wow, just... wow! It won't make you feel good, but if you haven't seen it before, check it out, if you're the least bit interested in drama, you won't regret it.
  20. My dad is going to SXSF (actually he left for Austin on THursday), he's been there a bunch of times now, don't know how many but I think it's at least three times. I'm glad for him, he deserves it.
  21. Only time I don't love Ovechkin is during the occasional attempt to murder Malkin.
