This team lacks maturity. From taking dumb penalities and taking teams lightly, we're not going to get anywhere if we don't get serious every game. I get the feelings some of these guys think they can go it on talent alone. :mad:

I'm of 2 minds when it comes to Kovalev: - on the one hand, I can't recall the last time we had a player this incredibly talented wearing the Sainted uniform. He's such a playmaker, it's just fabulous to watch. - OTOH, he's a bit of a headcase, like we saw in the playoffs. If he went thru a tough stretch and the infamous Molson Centre fans started doing their booing schtick with him, I suspect Kovalev would melt down in a hurry and become a huge headache. So he scares me in that respect. So, my take: if we get him, great. If we don't, we dodged a bullet.

Googled "Habs fan forum" or something similar, and it was as the top of the list. I saw it was pretty active so I signed up. Brisebois and Rivet are fine #5 and #6 dmen, but they're getting paid like #1 and #2. That's why people expected more from them. Mind you, I'll never defend the constant booing Pat got for a while - that was so stupid - but it comes with the territory when a player is overpaid ...

I still shake my head that Savard signed Brisebois to that kind of coin. What a stroke of luck that we can get rid of him at a much discounted rate. (Nice board, by the way !)
