  1. Simon Gagné sored goal #20 last night. He now has 31 pts in 19 games. His previous career high in goals stands at 33 (01-02), points 66 (01-02). Looks like he's on track for a career year. OK it's still early, playing on a line with Forsberg won't hurt. In california, MG looks like he's back on track. [Edited on 20-11-05 by mathieug] Hopefully, he has a career year and the Flyers don't. And then we can hope that Simon wants to come home and play with the Habs when he becomes a UFA. I just don't know if that's next year or the year after but one can only hope it's next year.
  2. They'll miss Bulis way more then Bonk. At least Bulis gets and creates some offence and will throw a check now and again and plays with alot of heart, all things Bonk never could and never will do. I've seen every game they played this year and Bonk out off the line up did,nt hurt them one bit.
  3. :hlogo: Let Markov have the reigns on the PP, this guys an all-star. Also, I'm tired of seeing guys like MacGratton run all over our guys. If Ivanans is out for awhile bring up J. Paul or J. Aitken to play on the 4'th line someone who will at least take some of these idiots to the sin-bin for 5 minutes and not have (Souray or Begin) have to do it, the other teams would love to send there goon off for five with anyone of our guys in the line up good trade off for them. I say if G. Laraque is available lets get him. (Sundstrom for Laraque) Let's protect our skilled players as we have lots to protect and who's going to miss Sundstrom sure he's a good two way player but we got 4 or 5 good two way players and all younger then Sundstrom. Give Streit a one way ticket back to Switzerland.

  5. :hlogo: Bonk's a third line bust. Whenever Sundstrom gets back from injury trade the 2 of them to Colorado for I. Lapierriere and D. Hinote. Lines- Perezhogin, Koivu, Kovalev Ryder, Ribiero, Zednik Bulis, Plecanek, Hinote Begin, Lapierriere, Higgins Also, Ivanans didn't last long as our enforcer, where's Peter Worrell sign him.
  6. :hlogo: Dagenais is taking valuable ice time away from Perezhogin, Plecanek and Higgins. Alone we get nothing for him and if we send him to Hamilton we lose him on waivers. So send him along with Sundstrom who's a good two way player ( that can't put the puck in the ocean) to Colorado for I. Laperriere who's a great two way player with speed & grit. And not to mention a French Canadien who will become even better when he puts the C-H on. Also I would try to get something for Hainsey who's probably had his last chance with us. Ship Hainsey and C. Locke who I like but we have enough small centres to the Rangers for J. Paiement & A. Giroux two more Frencj Canadien kids with some good skill, size and grit.
  7. :hlogo:The guys a joke and a loser. After all he coached a loser in Boston for years and now cheers for a loser in Toronto. He always goes on Canadian this and Canadian that, but as far as i can tell he cheers for any them ahead of the Canadiens. But I guess after having his ass kicked for so many years by them while coaching the Bruins, he's happy to see anyone beat them. I still watch the idiot, he's good for a laugh and Ron keeps him in his place.
  8. This trade would be reeetarded, bringing a washed up Desjardins back and getting a guy we can sign as an unrestricted free agent in a year or two. And like you said Zednik is a play-off performer. Hainsey isn't worth a dozen water bottles & Gainey ain't giving away draft picks. (Phew) Let's let a young team gel, like Hamilton did last year and had a strong finish. We can always add a peice to the puzzle before the trade deadline if needed.
  9. :hlogo:Does anybody know where to get of list of all the players sent to the minors who have to clear waivers ?(from every team)
  10. I know Hainsey & Hossa would have to clear waivers, Plekanec won't because he should be kept. But we don't keep Hainsey & Hossa up just because they have to clear waivers, keep the best & trade Hainsey to Atlanta with Hossa (to play with his big bro) and get some prospects or draft picks. Atlanta has a couple of good French Canadian kids in there system.
  11. :hlogo: From what I'm hearing this kid Latendresse can play at the NHL level, so lets put him in the line-up, why not Boston did it Bergeron and it didn't hurt him any. Let's not only put him in the line-up but on the #1 line with Ribiero and Kovalev, then Koivu, Zednik & Ryder. Checking line of Bonk, Bulis & Begin (need Begin there for his grit and to make the star players keep there heads up) then a fourth line (kid line) Plekanec,Perezhogin & Higgins the best kid line since Riseborough, Lambert & Tremblay. Use Vandermeer as the extra forward for some 4'th line grit. DEFENSE- would look like this Rivet, Markov-Souray, Komisarek-Dandenault, Bouillon & Streit as the 7'th man. Not only are we lookin' good but how about the farm with the guys we're going to be sending there. To Bad we couldn't ice all our own players in Hamilton we have enough talent left over to be a contender in the A.H.L.
  12. I realize there's no more waiver draft, but a player can still be lost if in Hoss's case he starts with the big club & then we want to send him to Hamilton he has to clear waivers.
  13. :hlogo: Send Hossa to Atlanta with his brother before we lose him on waivers for nothing. How about this trade Hossa, Sundstrom & Plecanek for Petrovicky, Lessard & Ramzi Abid. Petrovicky on the checking line with Bonk & Bulis. Lessard to play spot duty on 4'th line. How's this for a 4'th line - Begin, Higgins, Perazoghin for scoring or Begin, Vandermeer & Lessard for toughness.
