Huet was fine. The habs were fine. We lost to the best team in the league. That is easy to see if you watched. The habs just got to work on getting to that level ....where the sabers are. They are close, I don't know why everyone is so bummed. We used to always lose to Buffalo when they were shit. So what's the dif. At least we didn't get killed. We'll get it figured out by the play-offs and knock them out in 5 games . Teams that kill all year always go down in the first round anyway.

Put the blame on whoever you want. All I know the last few years as a habs no lead was ever good enough with Theo. You could be up 4-0 and still worry if you were going to win, sure enough the opposing team would come back just like the habs did last night. The funny thing is, that doesn't really happen anymore.....with Abby or Huet. What's my point? you might say. Quenville can get up the players arses all he wants when the team loses confidence in their 5.5 million dollar goalie there is not much he can do or say. Your back-up will be your #1 by the end of the year.

I love our habs team this year . Of course there is always room for improvement , but I don't know about Sammy. Whether he scores 50 goals or not he just doesn't seem to fit in a Habs uniform. Geez..I wish we got Shanny!!!! Aw well we're still better then the rangers. Next habs shoot-out we need to let Rivet go!!!!!!!!!!

I never thought it was that complicated. If you are on the ice when your team scores you get a plus. If your on the ice when a goal is scored against you, you get a minus. I don't think shoethanded or powerplays etc....has anything to do with it.

The only one ............watching a little T.V by the service bar.Everyone else was giving me a hard time because they were watching georgia tech or the world series.I wanted to go home after the first period. Good old Theo came alive though. No lead is a good lead with that dude. Glad we won and glad he's gone. Haven't read the thread but just want to add one thing. I am so happy for Rivet. His goal and celebration,let alone the smile he had, was the bomb. Screw anyone that dogs that guy. He may not be the best defenseman in the world but he gives everything he has every night and I hope he retires a habs. Just came home from work and I am reviewing the thread. Pretty much everyone has a great point. All line ideas make great sense and have potential to be powerful lines. I love the fact that the habs finally have a good team. I almost can't wait for injuries and slumps to see what else we have hiding in the basement. Once the boys get their groove. Carbo gets the chemistry right......we are going to roll some crazy ass lines that will score a lot of goals. Can't wait to chase Theo out of the net on Saturday. I wonder if he's going to juice up before the game.

Take it easy girls....... I do predict that Abby will have the better year. Only to Flop come late Febuary. Huet who will have a questionable season will then come in and save the day and win the CUP. How's that for a prediction? Abby is like Theo. You never know. His high's are high and the low's are low. Not much inbetween. Huet is more like Hackett. Very dependable. Can be great or at worst solid. Seems that you never really get a horrible game from him. I doubt the Habs move either of them this year. Carbo is treating the situation great too, by deciding the starters well in advance to avoid controversy. Well I guess untill one of the two stink up the joint.

Easy on Huet.........if it wasn't for him last night we could have lost 6-5 or even 8-5. Sure he's looking a little flat compared to last season but so is our D at the moment. As for ABBY. Yes he is looking good and can be a great #1, although much like THEO he can fall apart quickly too. No bagging cause nothing is in the bag with these two. I'm glad to have them both. Should they fail Yann Denis could be a surprise aswell. If anything, our D needs to get back to way they played the end of last season.
