Ya, the dumbass penalties do have to stop.......but it was lopsided last night. Some of these infractions getting called are simply just really cheesy. Especially when they put a team down 2 guys for such a long time. I like the new rules and speed of the game but I hate the fact that when a penalty is called now..no-one on the ice knows who, what, when , where and how....then in the replay they show a player was wiping his nose or scratching his nuts............5 on 3. That's what you get. Too hard to grasp what's wrong and right.......I do get it, I'm just left shaking my head too many times, thinking this isn't hockey.

I mentioned RELAX....in the game thread. Ryder always looks quirky out there, the pucks just seem to go in for him usually. He'll be back. He almost scored a couple of times last night......belfour robbed him....nothing you can do about that except keep plugging away..... He still managed 4 shots even though he only played what, like 10 minutes last night. Geez, were we short-handed for the entire game. Please no trade Ryder threads.....He is our only probable 30 + goal man........

No .....I've just seen enough. Games like this make me think about all the things I could Have been doing instead. And I get bummed.

Well, I don't beleive this rumour considering the circumstances. Although with the saying, you have to give something to get something holding true, Plexs is good bait.....If it gets us Selami or Jokinen, I would understand the sacrifice. especially for Jokinen........I hate to think what Plex may become, Oh the chances teams sometimes need to take. This sucks because I wasn't going to talk trade untill thursday.......It's like quiting smoking....... Is there a patch I can put on to help with trade deadline addicts......

I've been secretly wanting that to happen ever since they beat us and were all cocky about it. Hasek saying it was his easiest shut out and crap. The team betting on the bench they would keep us under ten shots. boy oh boy that would be a good show-down. I could live with that being a first round match-up. Let's see when should I book my flight.......for the parade that is.hehehehe

I forgot about Cole. I mean realistically...he won't just jump right back in after such a serious injury. Man the more I think about it the more I think this sorry bunch we've had for most of the year might be able to win the friggin cup.

That would be good, too. . I can't ever remember playing the flyers in the play-offs.....that would be cool. Something about that team though always scares me as a habs fan. Maby the Leclaire, Dejardins days....they used to always kill us after that trade.

I agree, but in a sense, all teams are in the same boat give a game or two. This is where we can only hope that the conditioning staff of the canadiens has somehow prepared our boys better then other teams. Let's just make it to the play-offs and try to win the first round early to get some rest. I think the rangers would be perfect. Out of the top 4 teams they are our best chance to be done with quick.

Don't worry this is not going to JINX us.................I just can't help thinking about who we want play in the first round. The Habs are in for sure, so is Atlanta.....Boston,Leafs, Tampa out I personally would like the Rangers in the first round. After that, I would take Ottawa, just because I really think our Boys can take them. Carolina and Buffalo I would like to avoid....we just don't play well against those teams and would probably sink in the first round. Here's to Atlanta making it........I think they can upset Ottawa who I think will finish 1st. Sorry just really bored of the trade rumours. I want to wait untill Thursday before I read anything else involving the habs. I'm Predicting a Montreal vs Nashville Stanley Cup final. The doubt you are showing now makes me feel like your little brother got into your account and is posting these crazy questions, of Koivu's ability to lead this team.
