Anyway, as for the time-out, Carbo didn't make a mistake. As reported today, he said that he was waiting for a whistle in order to rest his players he wanted there but the whistle never came. 20/20 insight is a good thing. But at least, it let some fans vent their anger on him instead of the bonehead play by Komisarek who has been prone to many mistakes in the last 2 loss by the Habs.

The habs are slightly better this year than last year if only because Samsonov and Aebisher are not there anymore. But where were they last year? Many posters see only that they finish 10th. And forgot that for 3 months, they were challenging for the top spot in their division. So the team is slighly better than last year and will still be challenging for top spot in their division. However, the unforseen always happens and they will have to deal with adversity at some time in the season, so I agree with Saskwest that the Habs will finish in 7th but with a cozy 5 points ahead of 9th place team. 1.
