Fletch96
It is just me? or does it seem that :hlogo: is becoming a very dangerous team in OT? Last time what happened? oh yeah we were sipping sweet champagne from Lord Stanley's Cup. I know!!! but its nice to be getting excited over this team again. TheAussiePosse
Remember '93? How many OT wins did we get? I'm not comparing us to that team, but if we ever get anywhere close to that Game-breaker-wise, it'd be awesome.
den0923
I was thinking the same thing as i watched game 2 of the '93 finals with L.A. on hockey classics the other day...it seems very similar ...BUT!!! i think we need to be more realistic than just putting our hopes on a repeat of '93..:hlogo:have (i think) what it takes to upset a lot of teams i.e ...boston , new jersey, tampa ... to get past the second round it will take a little more (not much though)..a big powerful foward i.e. lindros (just for the reminder of season then dump him) and one solid D..if this is attainable i don't see why the:hlogo:can't go very far even maybe all the way to the final... we have the potential to have to solid scoring lines...so why not go for it ????? Bonavistaman11
The Habs won 10 OT games that year, an NHL record. Thats amazing, 10 out of 16 wins came in OT!! What a sweet year, Hopefully the Cup will soon be back where it belongs! :ghg:
