simonus
From ESPN's pre-season power rankings: 2003-04 Week 1 30-35-8-9 - RANKING - 21 You know the season doesn't hold much promise when the biggest offseason move is in the front office. The addition of Bob Gainey as GM bodes well for the future. For now? Even if Jose Theodore rediscovers his game, there isn't enough of everything else to get them into the playoffs. How I love pre-season predictions.

huzer
Actually the one who did those was the female reporter for the Bruins. She never knows what she's talking about anyway.
simonus
are you saying that she wrote that week's rankings or all of them? I kinda assumed it was done in a group... like some smokey room filled with panger, buccigross, and melrose... I guess that's sort of ridiculous... jeppa
Melrose does know some hockey, but when it comes to Montreal he's still pissed about the '93 finals. ..and that's why he always think less of us. He said earlier that Theo didn't have a good season and that Koivu's didn't have a good offensive season. Please Mullet Melrose, do you ever watch Montreal games, or look at the stats? You have to wonder...
