johnnyhasbeen
that's 12 more wins before i give the winter beater red sundance a habs striped paint job, much to the chagrin of my senator fan wife-ish, who bless her heart wore a habs jersey and spun a habs towel over her head with me last night, and drive said habs mobile around halifax with my horn blaring. Happy... but as Gainey said, we are here for championships, not just making the playoffs and this was only one step, though a big one towards our goal. Hope the sens kick some ass tonight and the MakeBelieves and their fans go golfing tommorrow. :ghg::ghg::ghg:
Leafs Suck
I said it before Game 7, if we win, it could be the start of something special. This teams is similiar to the 93 team. Tampa is definitely beatable and than I think whoever we meet in the CF Flyers/Leafs/Sens, they're beatable as well... Anything is possible... If Minnesota and Anaheim could do it, we can. This comeback against the B's was the biggest comeback for the Habs since that Quebec series. Their are alot of similarities. Habs got on a roll and never looked back. They're on a roll now. They have only lost 1 of 7 in regulation. 4 of the last 5, and the one loss came within seconds of being a habs win. This team is on a roll and anything could happen. Tampa is beatable, just gotta shut St.Luis down...
ch_nl
I think Tampa should fit us better. Their strenght is speed and so is our. The have Modin, Richards and St Louis scoring goals for them. We have Kovalev, Zednik and Koivu. Theodore is a better goalie than Khabibulis, even if it's a close one. It wouldn't surprise me if this is a seven games series, as it seems pretty even on all positions. During the regular season we played Tampa Bay Lightning four times. Won the first game by 2-3 and the second as well with 5-2. The third one ended with a 4-1 loss. So did the last but the last one ended 5-3. Even. Just like this series will be. BUT! Montreal has just made a 3-1 comeback and has a lot of momentum, Saku and Kovalev is on fire. I think we can get this one!
