Easy Ryder
I just feel sorry for Don Lever, the town of Hamilton and it's fans. Even if they didn't make it some kids will maybe have a chance to practice in Montreal and be a part of a NHL playoffs experience as observers. - Stewart is already up there - Chipchura ( A hard fought season, tough for the character,he could even play if someone injure. - Valentenko ( A Russian friend, he would learn a lot here) - D'agostini (He scored bunches after his presence in Montreal. - Carle ( A good first year, a québequois, would be very exciting for him) - Wyman- Trotter ( A message that we believe in them) Key players that graduated this year, Price had nothing to learn there Halak : Bulldogs MVP 2008 is now a Habs. Lapierre : Was a rent into the playoofs last year, NHL stuff. O'byrne : Showed in NHL that he belongs Sergei Kost : Habs needed him, he would have been a monster there but he is a little monster in NHL. Grabovski : Had a great strech of games in Hamilton before being called up, he could have helped the Dogs more than he helped the Habs. Yes this hurts but they still had some AHL veteran but they didn't raise to the challenge. There is the players that should have lead them to playoffs. Locke, Milroy, Ferland, Lahti and Danis. The kids on defense had a learning year.
alexstream
yeah, they've been out of playoffs since midseason that's what happens when you lose 3/4 of your top players.
Easy Ryder
The Canadiens called up G Yann Danis, D Pavel Valentenko and forwards Matt D'Agostini, Duncan Milroy, Kyle Chipchura and Corey Locke (April's AHL Player of the Month). - TSN My guess wasn't that bad, Milroy and Locke i am surprise. It's a reward and part of the learning process. Dannis will eat some pucks in practice Valentenko will flyby and probably play for team Russia but couln't be overlooked Matt D'agostini is a project he did well. Chipchura has a candy after spending the year in the corner with the hat. Locke and Milroy they were there to bring the Dogs to the playoffs they didn't, i see no future for them.
