Markov79
LMAO! It's not like the Islanders had a great team... They got beat by an excellent Sens team, probably the deepest team skill-wise in the nhl... ######ing Milbury! http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=43234 Again rds will probably be the last to report this
sakiqc
well, pretty surprising! If there's something Mike Milburry didn't learn so far, it's that a little stability can be good some times hehe I thaught that Laviolette was the main reason for Isles very surprising year. Hey, they make the playoffs!! They were supposed to end the year very low on the standings. Weird :?- I don't understand this one. It must be a personal interest conflict. No one expected them to be in playoff. Even less expected them to win 1 game agaitns Ottawa. Argh MM:wall:
puck7x
omg.... Milbury screws-up again , what a surprise... Like Markov said... The Isles didnt even have a good team anyways , they had an awesome defense but after that not much , no offensive depth , questionable goalies... I am surprised they even made the playoffs... They really arent that good. Fire yourself next time Mike.
TheAussiePosse
They've replaced him with their minor league coach (Steve Stirling). Are they hoping for a Butch Cassidy success story? Oh well, here's more information that could lead to MM hiring Trottier... Could it be? Wait and see... Surprisingly... But don't quote me... Stop rhyming please... sakiqc
apparently, Laviolette was not easy to deal with.. wasn't listening to the players opinion.. was changing the game plan a lot.. exhausted top players... hey, wth! they made the playoffs for the first time in a while! Doesn't he have something to do with it ? It seems coachs are still players' puppet http://www.newsday.com/sports/hockey/ny-is...ockey-headlines
