ch_nl
I have alleready left Stockholm for Lund. Have to get back to school. So I miss this game. But it's on TV. Fun to see Saku Koivu in the finish national team again. 9 years since he won the world championship in Globe Arena. The game is tied 1-1. Olli Jokininen after 46 seconds and then tied by Jörgen Jönsson assisted by Peter "the great" Forsberg. Sweden owns the game right now, 10 minutes to play. And by the way, Swedish Djurgårdens IF has tied the game versus Juventus. So right now it seem that Sweden will send a team to the Champions Leuge. Good sports eve for Sweden
ch_nl
A really good game. Saku Koivu is playing good. Had a superb chance two minutes before the end. He also managed to stop a breakaway by Peter Forsberg alltough some might think that it was a penalty-shot situation. It can end either way. Finland are good in the offensive zone but Swedens team has more depth. I also think that Finland seems to play more defensive than what they use to. And Swedens blue-liners could be the best in the World Cup. Yes, they might even be better than the Canadian.

Doktor Kosmos
Finally: Hockey! World Cup around the corner; Sweden hosts Finland. Bad start for Salo; Jokinen scores goal quickly. Hey, wake up Tommy! Like bear he's sleepy, after hibernating long. Wake-up call works though. Throughout game improves our goalie; stops many pucks - earns good grades for game. Finland plays better during first half of the game, Sweden then takes charge. Best Swedish players: Zetterberg impresses all; his skates must have wings! Captain Mats Sundin, he gets others fired up. Great leader is he. Others play well too; two-way centers like Påhlsson and Jörgen Jönsson. Promissing duo found in Nicklas Lidström and Flyer Kim Johnsson. Our great hope Forsberg shows some flashes of brilliance; seems injured no more. Others must improve: Alfie's creativity lash back at him... Chill! Demolition Man Tomas "Homer" Holmström - d'oh! takes bad penelties. Despite OT goal, Näslund is invisible. Expect more from him. Sweden in the end comes out on top, deserves win; Finland can't stop us! Now when fall is here hockey season has started; World Cup teams, take heed!
