Quebecois
Anyone hear this story? Apparently Ron Artest, one of the Pacers top players, has requested that he receive a month off because he is tired out from cutting his debut rap album. How sad/pathetic is this? Fanpuck33_
Extremely. The Pacers are the only team I follow at all, and I can't stand the guy. He seemed to be under control, then he pulls this crap. They need to trade his ass.
Dutch_Habs_Fan
Yeah Pacers is also my favo team. But that's because Rik Smits played there. I followed it very closely back in the days. Now i don't give that much about NBA. But this is sick, ask time for a rap album. Just imagine asking you boss a month of because of that. Hilarious! Zowpeb
Was it a month? I heard it was just a couple games...either way it's ridiculous. Artest is a headcase but he's a damn good player...I'd actually like to see the Raps trade Carter to the Pacers for Artest and Pollard...even despite this issue with Artest. Fanpuck33_
You just don't get our argument. It's not just height. It's also weight and body frame. St. Louis' body takes a lot more punishment than anyone in the NBA.
Zowpeb
I dunno your argument about St. Louis but he's actually a pretty big guy for his size...as thick as a brick shithouse...
Fanpuck33_
But still, he's getting hit frequently by guys that outwiehgh him by 20 or more pounds.
Ribeiro
But still, he's getting hit frequently by guys that outwiehgh him by 20 or more pounds. And Iverson gets hit by people that outweigh him by 100lbs. [Edited on 2004/11/17 by Ribeiro]
Fanpuck33_
When was the last time Iverson got pounded into the boards? Or took a massive open ice hit? Or got hit legally? Never. [Edited on 11-18-04 by Fanpuck33]
