dlbalr
The Bulldogs (22-13-5) are once again in need of a win to preserve their first place lead in the North Division. They should have a chance tonight against the Crunch (14-20-4) although the fact they're facing a weaker opponent means we may have a Robert Mayer sighting. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Palmieri/Paetsch (9) Assists: 3 tied with (10) Points: Nathan Paetsch (19) PIMS: Leigh Salters (69) +/-: Nate Guenin (+6) Anaheim's GM has been busy fiddling with this team, 8 new players have been brought in since the beginning of the year, including the majority of the players listed above. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Dustin Boyd (11) Assists: Ben Maxwell (19) Points: Ben Maxwell (25) PIMS: Jimmy Bonneau (99) +/-: Mathieu Carle (+12) Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/

dlbalr
Maxwell and Engqvist with the goals...in the shootout as both Sanford and Levasseur get credit for a shutout. Most importantly though, Sanford gets the win, Hamilton wins 1-0 in a shootout. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1007928
Lammy
Maxwell and Engqvist with the goals...in the shootout Correction to your shootout scorers....It was Maxwell and Avtsin who scored for the Bulldogs in the shootout. What can I say about this game except WOW!!! Sometimes 1-0 games can be long, boring hockey, but not this one..this was the most INTENSE game I have seen in a long time! Both teams played the entire game going end to end non-stop back and forth as hard and as fast as they could skate. The Bulldogs rang the puck off the goalposts and crossbar about 5 times as well. It was also a busy night for the Bulldogs team doctors....in the first period, Conboy was tripped on a play going into the corner and he went down HARD into the boards. He was down on the ice for several minutes and had to be carried off. It appears that he has re-injured the same knee as before. At the end of the 2nd period, Schultz also went down hard in one of the corners and needed to be helped off the ice. Nobody touched him; he fell on his own; must have caught his skate in a rut or something.
