This will be the first time these teams met since their parent squads (Montreal, Atlanta) made 2 trades in the week leading up to the deadline. dlbalr
Bulldogs lose 2-1 in a shootout, so once again, they do get at least a point. Stejskal made his debut in this one, replacing Bishop. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1008402 Marlies lost in a shootout as well while Grand Rapids was blitzed by Texas so the Bulldogs remain in a tie for 2nd heading into tomorrow's game in Peoria. Lammy
Marlies lost in a shootout as well while Grand Rapids was blitzed by Texas so the Bulldogs remain in a tie for 2nd heading into tomorrow's game in Peoria. Bulldogs are temporarily in 3rd with 81 points. Marlies also have 81 points but they sit in 4th because they have fewer wins. Slightly OT: It doesn't really affect the Bulldogs at the moment for the playoffs but the Manitoba Moose/Abbotsford Heat game is being televised on CBC at 1:00pm ET this afternoon(Sunday) if anyone is interested. Oy, this is why I rarely post after 11, I always seem to screw up. Hamilton's also ahead of Toronto due to games in hand, which I believe they have several on the Marlies.
