Having completed their longest stretch of days off between now and the end of the season (2 days), the Bulldogs (39-26-9) look to leapfrog the Monsters (40-26-8) and move into 2nd in the North Division. Unfortunately for Hamilton, Lake Erie is the hottest team in the AHL right now, having won 8 of their last 10 games.

It was a balanced attack for Hamilton as all 4 lines scored in this one en route to a 4-1 win to take over sole possession of 2nd in the division. Masse, Fortier, Boyd (PP), and Wyman (EN) with the Bulldog goals. Avtsin with 2 assists and 2nd Star...he had 1 point in all of March (an empty netter that was awarded to him).

good win the for the Dogs. They now have 89 points and are only 1 point behind 1st place Manitoba. And guess who is NEXT on the schedule?....

It's going to be a battle for 1st place in the Division when the Moose play the Bulldogs this afternoon at 4pm. My only concern is that the Dogs probably got back into Hamilton about 3am this morning....I hope they are rested...This is going to be a good one!!
