Manitoba has made a lineup addition, signing winger Darren Archibald to a tryout deal after his Niagara Ice Dogs were eliminated from the OHL playoffs (take that, Marty Williamson). I suspect he won't play tonight but we may see him before this series is out.

I find it interesting that 2 of the Bulldogs' better pure offensive guys are healthy scratches. Avtsin for his inability/willingness to backcheck and Zanette due to the Randy's wanting 2 enforcers up front.

Lineup changes for the Moose: Connauton for Seabrook, Weller for Rypien. A couple other lines have changed too, this oughta be fun figuring the changes out.

Last minute goal (in the 2nd) ties it at 2, d'oh.

That last minute of the 2nd proved to be a killer as the Moose scored another before the period ended to make it 3-2. Dumont and White both scored in the 3rd but Manitoba got 2 themselves, making the final 5-4 Moose. Game 4 goes tomorrow.

Evidently, that goal at the end of the 2nd came with a ton of controversy. From Derek's Twitter:

Jordan Schroeder makes it 2-2 at 19:25. Ryan White takes a penalty with 1.9 seconds left in the period and Marco Rosa wins a faceoff...back to Sergei Shirokov who one-times a shot off the post and in. The green light went on - not the red light!?!? Despite what should have been a black-and-white call since there's no video review in AHL, the referees rule it a goal. Moose 3, Bulldogs 2.

Hamilton's last goal took forever to count; from reading some fan accounts of the game, sounds like the officiating was brutal. C'est la vie with Koharski.
