1-0 Manitoba after 1. A good start for the Dogs but they struggled in the 2nd half of the period.

So Cunneyworth uses Martin's trap, has no Desharnais, Subban, Pacioretty or Weber and gets as far in the playoffs as Boucher did using his 1-3-1 with more talent. Yep, we let go the wrong coach, didn't we.

Final Score: 2-1 Bulldogs!!!!

Boyd scored 6 seconds into the 3rd Overtime period. This game was the longest Game 7 in AHL history and the first one to ever go to a 3rd Overtime period.

The Hamilton Bulldogs now advance to the Western Conference Finals vs either the Houston Aeros or the Milwaukee Admirals. Those two team are playing their own Game 7 this evening to determine who will advance and face the Bulldogs.

Of note, the Admirals had 3 players sent down from Nashville today so they may have a little extra push. If you're like me and just had to hear the goal call (on another note, thumbs down to 820 CHAM for not even mentioning the score in the morning news let alone playing the clip...), here are the highlights:
